The horrible stench of death,blood and decay filled the air.
Amidst the fight between the two powerful beings, the sky started to clear up as though there was an invisible broom sweeping the darkness away. The earth thrummed quietly.
And then…something strange happened.
Isla's unconscious body lay crumbled and bruised on the remains of the ruins. Whitish streams of smoke, almost translucent, began to rise from her body. They curled up rhythmically as though in an hypnotic dance before moving away like they were alive. At a quick glance,they looked beautiful and shimmering under the faint light.
Everyone was so distracted that they didn't notice it. The humans were too busy trying not to get killed. Zade and Marcus were busy trying to kill each other and Ronan was fighting to stay awake.
Something strange started to happen to the other creatures.
