The Same Night, Some time ago…
At a neutral zone outside the capital city.
It was a barren land with no road or establishment around. The place would have stayed empty if not for the various arrangements done to it recently.
The previous barren land was now filled with various tables. The tables themselves had adorned with red flourishing drapes over them with various dishes and alcohols on top.
It wasn't just one, two or even ten tables, it was more than fifty tables that were arranged which made it seem like some kind of parade or gathering was happening.
And indeed it was.
It was both a kind of parade and gathering that was ongoing at the moment. But it had a dull feeling to it, as if the people didn't really want to be here but had to.
The kind of parties your parents forcefully take you to because it's a socially respectable choice… for the parents.
