Avery could not help the surprise forming on his face when Aeon told him that there were in fact, two different types of True Awakened.
"How does that even work?" Avery asked. It was the first thing that came to mind in his confusion.
"It's pretty simple. Both those that have come from other realms and the Kavhuun have astoundingly powerful psionic abilities. Not to mention neither are originally from this galaxy. Any of their offspring also have the chance to become Awakened.
"It might be a bit strange for them to be under the same label, but with how few there are of them, and us, no one has ever gone out of their way to try and make different categories to use."
Aeon continued to explain that there was almost no way to tell who the ancestor of an Awakened was.
They could either be the descendants of a Kavhuun or a Realm Traveler, as they were most commonly called.
