"Suicide?" Hitomi repeats.
Ayumi show a little smirk, "Shock? So did I. I have no idea she's gonna do it. Whenever we meet, she always look so happy. She seem happy with her new husband as well, so I thought - nothing is wrong. Everything is so perfect... until that night?"
"What happened?"
Ayumi left out a little sigh, "She discovered that he have a child with another woman. He left that woman to be with my sister, the heiress. Chiharu-neesan was so angry when she find out. She drove out from the house the very same day and parked her car near the cliff. The next day, we found out that she already jumped out. We didn't discovered the body until three days later..."
"How horrible. It's a tragedy, then?"
"You can say that. My father is furious with her new husband. You could only did to him after he find out about the other woman and the baby. Even though he's only Chiharu-neesan stepfather, he loved my sister dearly. Which is why, he doesn't hesitate to do what he must to my sister new husband."
"What happened to him?" Hitomi ask, almost in a whisper.
Ayumi smirks, "I left that to your imagination."
Hitomi takes a gulp down her throat. She didn't feel like eating anymore after hearing a sad story about Chiharu Reiner. Instead, she just ask to be excused.
"Full already? But you barely eats anything, Hitomi-san."
"I'm sorry. I just... don't feel very well." she reply.
Ayumi left out a deep sigh, "Come with me. I know just the thing to cheer you up."
Hitomi blinks a couple at times at Ayumi. Slowly, she begin to follow her upstairs. Ayumi stopped in front of a door and look at her.
"You don't seem like a woman who cares about what she wears, but I still feel the need to show you what I'm good at. Let's come inside."
"What's in there, Ayumi-san?" Hitomi ask.
"My life." Ayumi answer and opens the door. As soon as the door is open, Hitomi sees that the room is fill with shoes. From high heels to wedges, from boots to sandals - Ayumi get it all in that spacious room.
"Wow, this is incredible. I never seen so much shoes in my life!" Hitomi exclaims.
Ayumi smiles, "I been designing shoes ever since I was 10 years old. So, you could only imagine how much I got stacked in here."
Hitomi eyes continues to scan the room, "Which one is your first?"
Ayumi walk to a corner. She then picks up a shoe from the second top. It's a high heel, possibly 4 inches. She hands it to Hitomi like it is the most precious thing in the world.
"I created that shoe for Chiharu-neesan. She wanted to wear heel, but our strict father forbids his daughters to wear one until they're in college. Chiharu neesan was devastated because she needed one to practice since she just started becoming a model. So, with the help of our butler - I design a shoe especially for her and ask one to be made."
"I can't believe a ten year old design this shoe. It's very pretty. What was her reaction?"
"She's so happy when she got it. She keep thanking me and give me a runway walk as a gift. I think of her as an angel and nothing could ever be compare to my beautiful sister. It's such a shame that she's taken away soon from us." Ayumi laments.
"The worker said that she kinda look like me. Is that true?" Hitomi asks.
"Yes."
"Ayumi-san, I'm sorry for asking this... But, do you perhaps love your sister... more than a sisterly love?"
Ayumi give Hitomi a sharp look, "So, what if I was?"
Hitomi didn't answer. Ayumi take a sit at nearby wing chair and look upon her entire shoe's collection.
"I can't tell Chiharu-neesan how I felt. Even though we have a different father, we are still bonded by blood. Besides, I'm happy just to be her little sister."
"But, why did you... I mean, I still don't understand. Why did you bring me here? We're practically strangers who knows nothing about each other. Why, Ayumi-san?"
"I don't know really myself. But, from the moment I saw you - I just couldn't help it. You look so much like Chiharu-neesan that I don't want to risk losing you again. That's why I brought you here - to keep you close to me."
"Is that all?"
"Why? Do you want it to be something more? Do you wanna be my lover, Hitomi-san?"
Hitomi didn't quickly answer. But, her blushing face is more than enough. Ayumi crossed her arms and smile.
"Say, I never get to do anything to you while you're really sick. Should we try it now?" Ayumi cheekily suggest and grabbed her waist.
Hitomi squeals a bit before showing a frown, "No... Please don't, Ayumi-san."
Ayumi frowns, "Geez, you're no fun."
Ayumi begin to walk around the room to have a closer look at her shoe's collection. As she's inspecting an older version of an ankle boot, she can feel a warm arms hugging her from behind. A little stunned, she slowly turned her head.
It's Hitomi Kato, volunterily hugging her from behind!
"Hitomi... san?"
"Shh, please don't say anything. I don't know what I am doing." Hitomi said embarassingly.
Ayumi stay quiet. For a moment, neither of them says anything. Ayumi slowly turned around to face Hitomi.
She give her a faint smile, "What are you so afraid off?"
"I... don't know what I'm doing. Everything have been so strange ever since I come here. I feel like I don't even know myself anymore."
"Or maybe... you just starting to get know yourself...." Ayumi said and kisses Hitomi.
Hitomi body freezes. As their kisses continues, she find herself closing her eyes and putting her arms around Ayumi.

"Hitomi... Hitomi-san... Are you awake?"
"Hmm?"
"You been asleep for a while now. It's time to wake up now."
Hitomi shakes her head, "But I still want to sleep. Give me a few more minutes.
"How stubborn... Do you wanna go again?" Ayumi said and plant a kiss on her lips. Hitomi slowly opens her eyes and see Ayumi is grinning at her.
"Ayumi-san! What are you doing?" she ask in a surprise.
"Cut the act. You know you like what we did last night."
The shy Hitomi didn't responded. Truth is, she still can't believe that she did that with Ayumi Reiner, her employer. She just can't believe that after what they had been through - they finally sleep together!
"I don't remember anything..." Hitomi lies and hide her face inside of the pillow.
Ayumi quickly take away the pillow and grabbed her face, "Liar. I know you still can't forget what we did last night."
Hitomi tries to look another way, but Ayumi immediately kisses Hitomi again. She won't allow Hitomi to hide again.
"Ayumi-san..." Hitomi whisper under her breath.
"Yes?"
"Do you think... I can go home now?"
"But why? I thought you had just start to like it here." Ayumi protest.
Hitomi shakes her head, "I know. It just... I need to get some of my stuff first, before I come back here."
Ayumi raise an eyebrow, "What for? We can always buy a new stuff. Let's just stay in here where its comfy and fun."
Ayumi is hugging Hitomi tightly. Their bosom touches. Hitomi can feel the arousal from last night is building up again. She tries to contain it as best as she can, but everything change the moment Ayumi's kissing her neck.
"Ayumi-san... please... not there...."
"Shh...." Ayumi remind her. Her kisses continues and fall on her shoulder, before quickly reaching her heaving bosom.
Hitomi know she's lost right then and there. Ayumi Reiner and the memories of last night is too irresistible for her to forget.
