"I told you not to cry," Blue said to Winter after hearing his sniffles and feeling Winter's tears on his hair.
"I'm not crying," Winter defended himself with a voice that sounded like he was indeed crying.
Blue rolled his eyes and disentangled himself from Winter's hug. Winter's red eyes were even redder, and the tip of his nose was just like a bell of pepper.
"Mmm hmm," Blue said, letting Winter shamelessly wipe his tears away.
When he was done, Winter said, "But really, how are you feeling now? Are you sure you're okay? I can still get the doctor if you're–"
"I'm fine. I swear it," Blue cut Winter off with a reassuring tone.
"I won't take much of your time then. Adam and the others have been waiting outside to see you so…"
"What are you saying?" Blue asked Winter after he trailed off.
"I've seen that you're okay so I'm just gonna go and–"
