"You know you can apply for your Scottish passport. You are legally Scottish therefore you are allowed to stay. I can put you in connection with an agent who specializes with this. You'd have to ammend your details a bit though. We just have to make sure your paperwork matches," Christina explained through the phone as I took a walk through a random park I found.
"Do you think it will affect me playing for England in anyway?" I ran my fingers through my hair, "You know once I get my duel citizenship and everything."
"I think it will open you up to more options. Who knows maybe Scotland will ask you to play for them instead and you can become your own person," she softly giggled. "Maybe you need a clean slate."
I nodded to myself and kicked a random pebble before I looked up to the cloudy sky. "Maybe you're right, still a bit to early to contemplate changing teams," I chuckled, "But knowing that I can call two places home would be nice."
