"So you watch yourself on tv for fun?" Melanie eyed me as she threw popcorn in her mouth. We sat in my cinema room. The recent games I had played on the screen as I analyzed myself and made my own comprehensive sheet on where I went right and wrong.
She must have thought when I invited her to the cinema, that we would be watching a fun movie. To me this was a fun movie. It was excellent and I got to see Edward pop in and out every now and then which made my aching heart feel better.
I turned to her and smiled. "Is watching me not entertaining enough for you? I think I'm excellent." I took the remote and rewinded a bit to show her how I perfectly tackled down an opposing player who was trying to pin down Isaac. "Look at the grace I exhibit here. It's like a song. A perfect duet."
She stared at me some more before she let out a small laugh. "Connor, please don't tell me you don't watch anything besides rugby. At least you should watch some movies."
