All it took was one scream. One terrified shriek. Let out for no other reason than simply seeing the vampires.
Vampires bathed in fresh blood, yes, with their lips red and fangs bared, but still. They hadn't made any move on the ball attendees just yet.
Of course, that didn't really matter. From how they looked, it was obvious that they didn't come here to join the dance.
…At least not the kind of dance that humans liked to participate in.
Either way, that first scream broke the fragile balance. Once it resounded, everyone snapped out of their daze, and started running around, trying to escape…
