Nana felt something was off. It seemed Momo was mixing things up to fool her. What did making Big Sister look great have to do with dragging people into this?
But she didn't know how to argue back.
Big Sister really had given a lot. She was happy just hugging Brother-in-law every day. Neither of them had known Big Sister could go this far for a guy.
And right now, going to Big Sister for advice wasn't really an option either.
If she exposed Momo, Momo would definitely get back at her. Momo wouldn't even need to put much thought into it. She'd just tie her up, then recommend her to Big Sister and Brother-in-law, saying she wanted to play some special games with Brother-in-law, and Nana would have no choice but to swallow it in humiliation.
Don't think Momo wouldn't do that to a good friend. She had the utmost faith in Momo's sense of decency, which was exactly why she was certain Momo would do it.
After all, they'd both tasted it, and Big Sister was only too happy to see them grow closer to Brother-in-law.
But if she just stood by, Momo's scheme would drag her down too, as the accomplice who hadn't reported her.
She might even have to beg Brother-in-law for forgiveness then.
Either way, she wasn't getting out of it in the end.
Thinking that far, Nana made up her mind to go all in.
"Momo! In that case, let's pull in everyone wearing an Empathy Collar or an Empathy Wristband!"
"Everyone? Nana, are you sure you mean everyone?"
Momo, who had been enjoying the sight of Nana's struggling, agonized face, froze, then stared at her in disbelief.
Nana's suggestion seemed even crazier than hers.
There were differences even among reserve members.
Some were reserve members who had been invited and had only just joined the Club, and hadn't yet had the chance to go through the Magical Girl Awakening Ritual or awaken their mana.
Others were reserve members who had simply been given a personal empathy device by a Service Club member.
They were usually relatives of full members. If the full member hadn't told them anything, and they hadn't accidentally pressed the empathy function button on the Empathy Collar, some of them might wear it for quite a while without knowing about the empathy function.
There weren't many people like that, but they did exist.
"Brother-in-law is going to, um, do that... that to us anyway, so we might as well all go together!"
Nana had been flustered herself, but seeing Momo scared by her, she calmed down instead.
"With that many people, even if Brother-in-law's stamina is superhuman and he never gets tired, taking everyone on would still take a long time."
"And not everybody's going to fall at the first touch. By the time he gets to the ones at the back, the ones at the front will have rested up again."
"By the time Brother-in-law frees up, several days might have gone by!"
It was all going to end up the same way anyway, so how much worse could it get?
The Elf Princess had finally gone away for once, so they'd use the chance to make everyone understand Big Sister's contribution.
"Then I'll go with what you said, Nana."
Momo thought about it, didn't turn down Nana's suggestion, and nodded seriously.
"What do you mean, go with what I said?! Didn't you drag me into this, Momo?!"
Nana suddenly sensed something was wrong and quickly spoke up.
"I only asked you to co-host tonight's Service Game with me. Dragging everyone in was something you said yourself, Nana."
Momo giggled, ignored Nana, whose face had gone red as she tried to argue, turned around, and went back to working the laptop, keeping watch over the special game space she had named Paradise.
It looked like a laptop, but it wasn't actually a real laptop. It was the tool she used to create and manage virtual worlds.
Back when they hadn't shown themselves yet and were spying on Hachiman's house from the shadows, she and Nana had wanted to pull them into a virtual world for a game, to see how things were with Brother-in-law and the girls around him.
Tonight, though, she wasn't pulling everyone into a virtual space. She was adding some of the virtual space's rules to the Service Club's Service Inn, the special space that merged and linked several hot-spring inns scattered in different places.
Things like data displays, and issuing service quests to Club members.
She hadn't been able to do that before, but after she'd empathized with Big Sister's and Brother-in-law's pleasure so many times, some of the Service Club's hidden special permissions seemed to have opened up for her.
Now, with this laptop-shaped virtual space management tool, she could see the daily output of the Spring of Service that Brother-in-law had set up in the hot-spring inn.
She could add new members to the Service Club roster without waiting for Brother-in-law's confirmation, though he would get a notification on his end as well.
She could put Club members on the family restaurant menu without any member signing off on it, so they could be made into delicious dishes for Brother-in-law to enjoy whenever he liked.
She had even just discovered the hot-spring inn's special invitation function, which Brother-in-law had never used.
It didn't require someone to be a Service Club member beforehand. As long as the special invitation conditions that were set were met, they would "accidentally wander into" the hot-spring inn.
Fox spirits, sisters, for example. All of those could be set.
Beyond that, there were some things she hadn't managed to figure out.
The Service Club members all seemed to carry several kinds of energy fluctuations. Sorting them by the members' circumstances, it was easy to see that demi-humans had one special energy, and succubi had one more on top of that.
The magical girls all had the same special energy, and the shy, timid girls had another one they all shared.
There was also a special energy that only showed up in Gabriel, Raphiel and the others, and another of the same type that only families had.
Even the game-data rules Momo had built with the virtual space couldn't work out what these special energies were.
The only pattern she had found so far was that the closer someone was to Brother-in-law, the more traits they had, the higher the concentration, and the stronger the power they showed.
And on herself, besides demi-human, succubus, and the energy every member had, there was one more special energy that hadn't taken shape yet.
This special energy was similar to what the Tohsaka and Yukinoshita families had, except that she only had a quarter of it. It wasn't like Tohsaka Rin, Tohsaka Sakura, Yukinoshita Haruno and Yukinoshita Yukino, whose whole families already had it all over their bodies.
She was curious what the energy was. Was it because she hadn't had a real relationship with Brother-in-law?
Once she had received Brother-in-law's aid, would she awaken her mother's Cham bloodline? Would she get even higher permissions?
Wait, no. Hold on. The Elf Princess and the Dragon Clan Chief were back?
Why hadn't they shown themselves to join the Service Game? They were even hiding?
Momo had still been musing about how things would go between her and Brother-in-law in the future when she suddenly noticed an energy reading in the Service Club second only to Big Sister's. She narrowed her eyes and started searching for the Elf Princess Iris and the others.
There was also a whole pile of unfamiliar special energy readings... new people who had tasted Brother-in-law's scent?
That blonde princess. How long had she been gone, and here she was bringing the elves back to join the fight...
