Third Person's POV
Dazon did not answer immediately to his father's confusion.
Instead, he leaned slightly forward and silently mouthed a few words, and the moment those words were conveyed through their strange connection, the dark emperor's composure shattered.
"What did you say?" the skull roared, its voice suddenly sharp with disbelief.
"How is that even possible?!"
The green flames inside its eye sockets flared violently as shock and greed surged through the ancient, monstrous being.
"Wasn't it supposed to exist only in legends? How could something like that truly exist in this world?"
The Dark Emperor, who was still manifesting through the eerie black skull, asked in a shaken and almost disbelieving voice.
And by the time the last word left him, it no longer sounded like a question directed at his son.
Instead, it became a low, disturbed murmur spoken to himself, as though he were trying to convince his own mind that what he had just heard was impossible.
