Something ancient stirred within her eyes. Ethan watched her silently as he was more intrigued than surprised.

Suddenly, the moment shifted again and Ethan's gaze finally slid toward the tall, dark figure looming beside the red-eyed young warlord.
Clad in jet-black armor and a black mantle covering its whole upper body, a familiar shadow fell across the battlefield.
Seeing that dark figure, Ethan's eyes narrowed to slits.
It was that knight.
That same cursed dark knight, the one he had fought just the night before in the halls of the Imperial Blade Hall in the City of Vord.
The clash had been fierce and bloody, but it was also unresolved for both of them.
And now, here he stood before him once more, like a shadow that refused to fade.
