Clara and Heather only needed a five-minute conversation to decide. Ultimately, it'd be a good idea to join them. They'd both seen their family break their backs to afford their kids. Heather was sure the moment Anka asked her to, but Clara just needed one last push. She was quite attached to her wife, Heather, so she wasn't thrilled with sharing.
It was her one failing as a martial artist.
She couldn't detach from Heather as an eighteen-year-old. She could have gone off and made a name for herself as a fighter. Competing or joining higher-level parties because of her class. But she wanted to stay near Heather. And now she was being asked to share her.
"I won't lie." Clara let out a deep sigh. "I will be extremely jealous."
"I know, honey." Heather hugged Clara. "I was afraid you would be."
"I'm not even sure if I could get over it." Clara wrapped her arms around Heather. "Maybe there's magic that will ease my feelings, but I don't know…"
"I'll ask if we can limit ourselves to just each other." Heather kissed her shoulder. "I'm not exactly thrilled to share you either."
"And if not?" Clara gripped her tightly.
"I'll do my best to deal with the jealousy," Heather returned the squeeze. "And minimize my duties with others."
"I trust you." Clara sighed. "But… I'm still hesitant."
"We can say no," Heather whispered.
"But then all our savings would be devastated…" Clara was arguing with herself aloud. "And I promised to make you a mother."
"I'm sure they'd let us use theirs…" Heather whispered back.
"Maybe, but maybe it's better for us to do it." Clara eased her shoulders. "Maybe I'll feel different… I think I'll be alright."
Heather parted from the hug to study Clara's blue eyes. She could see the hesitation leaving her. "Are you sure? It is your call. Anka said we both needed to be sure."
"I'm sure." Clara nodded. "Should we go find them and let them know?"
"Maybe." Heather smiled at her, then she remembered who they brought. "What about Vivienne?"
Vivienne was waiting outside the tavern for Elsie. She was humming to herself as she finally spotted the mage. She hopped up out of the chair she was on and walked towards her.
"Hello, remember me?" Vivienne waved towards the older twin.
Elsie smiled and nodded. "I do. And perfect timing, we had something to discuss with you."
"Hello again," Hannah waved at her. She was hiding Toni behind her, a reveal for later.
"Hi, Miss Hannah, and Miss Ana." Vivienne bowed her head, then giggled. "That rhymed. And behind you is Master Toni?"
"It is." Hannah tensed up for a moment. "Sadly, he cannot show his face."
Vivienne nodded. "Because of Anka's blessing. Heather told me. Nice to meet you, Toni."
Toni waved from behind his knight. "Hello! Can't wait to put a name to a face."
Elsie cleared her throat. "Well, we need to talk to you and the other two. Can we go to your room?"
Vivienne nodded and led the way. She was excited to talk with Elsie as they walked, but the others were focused on how best to explain this. And what to do if the other two said no. By the time they made it to the stairs inside, Clara and Heather were on their way down the stairs.
The two paused and stared at the group for a moment, then at Vivienne. "We'll use our room." Heather turned and directed them.
"Good idea," Elsie nodded. She waited for them all to settle before continuing. "First of all, this is Toni."
Toni popped his head from behind Heather. They gauged their reactions, but got none. So Toni was allowed to sit in the open. He finally got to interact with Clara and Vivienne, but not for too long. After properly introducing himself to them, they broke into a few awkward conversations.
"So, we decided." Heather stopped the side conversations after a brief moment. "We will accept."
"Good to know." Toni nodded and then glanced at the older twin.
Elsie pursed her lips. "Vivienne, I want you to know that everything I'm about to tell you is the truth and that you can say no, okay?"
The brunette mage tilted her head. "U-um, okay?"
So Elsie explained everything. They thought it was best to have her explain since Vivienne admired her quite a bit. She explained their mission, their Goddess, and how they were going to recruit the other two. Then she finally got to the gift.
Vivienne was wide-eyed, and her mouth hung open when the gift was fully explained to her. Once Elsie was done, all she could do was look at the other two. "F-f-f-for real?"
Clara nodded. "Yes."
"Um, I-I-I-I think…" Vivienne's mind was swirling. She wanted to say "yes"; she wanted to aid this group towards their goal. But the added appendage seemed like a lot. But if both Clara and Heather were doing it, she felt like she could too. But then again, it is an entire penis. "I-I think I'll accept."
Elsie grabbed her hand and got uncharacteristically serious. "That's not good enough. We need a yes or a no. No 'I think' or 'I might'. You have to be sure."
Vivienne gulped and took a deep breath. She quickly assessed the pros and cons, then got reassurance from Clara and Heather. The two were deadly serious, which gave Vivienne more confidence. "I-I accept."
Elsie smiled and squeezed her hand. "Good! You're too cute to pass up on."
Vivienne was stunned by being called cute. She hid her blushing with the brim of her hat and hoped no one saw it. All she could really do was make a small noise. "Awawa"
"None of that, Elsie." Hannah chided her. "Remember, no taking advantage of the situation."
"Aww," Elsie smiled at her. "Well, someone has to take care of her lust after."
"Fine, but then I get the other recruit." Hannah smiled at her. Probably wasn't best to say aloud that the "other" in this case was Elsie and Ana's mom.
But before Hannah and Elsie could continue, "Stop, both of you. We need to be serious."
"Fine." Elsie rolled her eyes. She opened up the bag she was carrying. "We thought it best if it was only you two in the room after accepting it. So here."
She handed them a bottle that was slightly warm to the touch. Toni squirmed as his seed was handed over to the duo. Clara hesitantly took it and set it between her and Heather.
"Thank you." Clara nodded.
There was a brief pause, then Elsie turned to Vivienne. "Now, you'll be coming with us. We'll help you."
Vivienne gulped. There'd be no turning back in just a couple of minutes. She nodded slowly as she eyed the second and third bottles in the bag. She wanted to ask about said "Other" recruit, but she felt like she'd learn soon enough. "Yes, ma'am…"
"Ma'am?" Elsie raised an eyebrow. "I like the sound of that."
"Oh Gods," Hannah sighed and grabbed her master's waist. "Her ego is gonna get even more inflated with this cutie around."
Elsie smiled smugly at the knight. "Hear that, Vivienne? She called you cute."
The brunette mage, who hadn't had any experience with romance, could only hide her face behind her hat from embarrassment. She'd never really been called cute before, but it happened twice today. Once more, all she could do was make a small noise. "Awawa…"
"I-I think it's time we give them space," Ana spoke up after a natural lull. She took a deep breath and got to her feet. "Excuse my sister's immaturity. She's doing her best to lighten the mood for you all."
"Thank you." Heather bowed her head. "And thank you, Elsie. It helped a bit."
"I don't know." Clara shook her head. "Didn't really distract from the absurdity of this situation. But it did make me smile a bit"
"I'll take it!" Elsie beamed. She offered her hand to Vivienne and helped her up. "Now, let's give you two the privacy you deserve!"
