『Yuta Yukimura - Sitri Estate』
It took only a moment for Serafall to grab my hand and teleport us to the Sitri Estate with a wave of her hands. Sera was practically vibrating in excitement. While I felt pretty nervous. I had confidence in my abilities, but Law of Regression was not an easy-to-use power. I just had to hope the Sleeping Disease was something he contracted recently. Or else this would take months of back and forth.
"Hmm, feeling nervous, Yu-kun? Don't worry, my dad is a pretty good person. He won't hassle you for anything. Or maybe... you are nervous because you are going to ask for my hand in marriage? Oh my~ I can't believe you are so forward~."
I rubbed my cheeks to wipe away the flush as Sera tried to embarrass me, I knew she was doing her best to try and clear the heavy air, but I was kinda preparing to get my balls kicked so hard by Law of Regression that they'd end up in my throat. The teasing felt kinda weird in that situation.
"Whatever, let's get this over with."
"Yup yup."
Serafall led me down the halls, as the maid girls saw me they gasped and started gossiping. But I turned a blind eye, that was about expected at this point.
She opened the door to a room and entered with a bright smile.
"Hey dad! Hey Sona! I brought Yu-kun!"
The inside of the room was expansive and very well decorated, the walls were painted a deep sea like blue and numerous portraits were hung around it, in the middle of the room was a canopy bed with an older man sitting on it, not too old as expected due to Devil lifespans. He actually somewhat resembled George Joestar, just with black hair and deep blue eyes.
Sitting next to him on a chair was Sona who looked to be talking with her father before we entered the room. She jumped in surprise and looked at me and Serafall in shock.
"Yuta-kun? Nee-san, why have you brought him here?"
Serafall covered her mouth and giggled.
"What? I shouldn't bring our lover to see his in-law- ow ow ow!"
I grabbed Serfall's cheek and pulled on it to stop her from embarrassing us.
"Ignore her please."
The man on the bed laughed heartily but lacked energy in his movements. I was no white mage, but even I could tell.
"Hahaha! You must be Lord Yuta, is that right? My daughters have told me about you lots of times. I'd love to get up and shake your hand, but I have a feeling my daughters wouldn't let me."
I bowed my head in return to him.
"It's an honor to meet you, sir."
As the future Leviathan I probably should not bow my head to anyone other than the Satans. But I did not give a hoot.
Sona coughed into her fist to interrupt us.
"Ahem, Yuta-kun, why are you here again?"
"Oh, I'm here to heal your father. I actually have an ability that can do it. I'm here to see how effective that one is."
Sona's face twitched with so many emotions that I honestly could not describe them in one paragraph. Eventually, she settled on cradling her face and releasing a breath full of both relief and frustration.
"Haaaaaaah... I shouldn't be surprised by you, Yuta-kun, I really shouldn't be. You defy logic on the regular, you never stop defying logic. But I cannot be mad right now, please Yuta-kun, if you can heal my father, please do so."
I rubbed the back of my neck while feeling a bit flustered, Sona, of all people acting like that didn't sit with me.
"No worries, I'll succeed." There was no try or hopefully, had to succeed. Both Son and Serafall were relying on me. "If you really feel that grateful, please don't bow your head. Just buy me a meal and we'll be even."
Sona chuckled with a mirthful voice.
"Ha... I forgot you were like that, Yuta-kun. Please do, if you do, I'll give you much more than a single meal."
I gave her a thumbs up, my shadow stretched and spat out a chair next to Lord Sitri's bed that I sat on as he regarded me with a hopeful expression.
"Lord Yuta, do you really think you can do it?"
I gave a thumbs up, it was the simplest way of expressing myself, I was not good with words after all.
"I can, if I can bring back the dead, I can get rid of this disease."
"He can what-" "Shh Sona, they are having a moment."
The older man bowed his head with a grateful smile.
"I'll gratefully accept whatever treatment you can offer me. I'd like to be able to see my children and spoil their children as well. If you can cure me, you will forever be a friend of the Sitri Family."
Way to put pressure on a guy.
I did not voice my thoughts, instead I placed my hand on his shoulder and turned on Devil Trigger while using Law of Regression as its Focal Point.
Light gasps resounded as I grew two heads taller, my skin growing like armor with a golden sheen over it while horns sprouted on my head that looked like tree roots made of light.
"Law of Regression."
I applied it on Lord Sitri's body, Causality started reverting, I aimed towards what I imagined was the Sleeping Curse, but due to not knowing what it was, I had to go all in. A golden, pale glow bathed the entire room.
"This... feeling!"
My body and soul strained, the feeling of pulling the weight was still difficult, thankfully, the old devil did not seem to be too much of a fighter like Rias' mother.
Blood started dripping from my nose, and mouth, and ears. But I held on tight. I definitely needed to step up my training. Maybe actually practice with Law of Regression to see if I can narrow its range to increase its effectiveness while reducing the backlash.
How long did it take? At least several minutes of me using it, but thankfully it felt like it hadn't been long since he contracted the disease, and I knew I had healed him when-

I immediately stopped using my ability and Lord Sitri noticed it too.
Lord Sitri's eyes snapped wide awake.
"I- the sleepiness is gone. I think I'm cured."
I tried to keep the blood pooling in my mouth from leaving my putting my focus onto the gacha.
Patience? Never heard of it, roll that shit.
Rolling Platinum Ability Gacha...
A Rare Ability
[Shape Altering]
|Rare Ability|
Allows you to alter your body to change its shape, but it cannot be used to create biological impossibilities on your body such as turning your head into tentacle whips. The larger the alteration the more energy it takes to do it.
I raised an eyebrow, that was a straight upgrade to Natural Weapons, wasn't it? Still, shapeshifting was definitely a great ability. Especially when I would be using a more brute strength build. I could stack it with Natural Weapons for an even bigger boost if needed. Wait, if I cooked meals with this and Pearl Jam, wouldn't that allow me to permanently change the bodies others? That definitely requires some research.
"Cough cough!"
"Yu-kun, are you alright?"
In the blink of an eye, literally, I didn't even see her move, Serafall was by my side and supporting me as I coughed my lungs out. There was definitely some internal damage, but all things considered this was not as bad as reviving Shuri. Guess by the scales of Karma, healing Lord Sitri is less impactful than reviving a whole person who has been dead for years.
"Yup, ahem, just a sore throat. I'm feeling better than I expected."
Serafall looked at me with a complicated expression but tussled my hair with a playful but exasperated smile.
"Geez, you sure love causing me to worry, don't you? You cure something that hasn't been cured for decades, and you are trying to shrug it off?"
I stood up with shaking steps, this would sting for a few days. Lord Sitri sat up too, rubbing his wet eyes. He stood up tall and grabbed my hand firmly while I reciprocated with a shaky demeanor.
"Thank you, young man. I cannot thank you enough. You are a true friend of the Sitri. I'm glad my daughters were able to find a man like you."
"The pleasure's all mine sir. They have helped me greatly. It's the least I could do."
He laughed heartily and patted my shoulder.
"Hahah! So humble, he is a good man Sona, Serafall. Sink in your fangs and don't let go."
"D-dad!"
"What do you think I've been trying to do for the past month?"

We spent a few more minutes talking, and they insisted I stay over, which I agreed to due to my weakened state, I didn't want to move around too much or use my abilities. But as usual, sleep did not come to me easily when I laid alone. So I naturally gravitated towards the balcony to get a breath of fresh air, only to encounter Serafall apparently having had the same idea. She leaned against the railings with a tired expression.
"Yu-kun? What are you doing here?"
This development seems familiar.
I leaned next to her and asked the age-old important question.
"Same as you probably, couldn't sleep, needed some air. What's on your mind?"
"Nothin-"
I gave her a stern look.
"Serafall, I have a harem, I can tell when a girl is feeling down. You asked me to trust you before, right? Try trusting me too, keeping feelings bottled up is never good."
Serafall's lip trembled before she sighed.
"You're right Yu-kun. It's just... I felt so weak."
I scooted closer to her while she vented her feelings. Staying close but not commenting.
"I'm Serafall Leviathan, the strongest woman in the underworld. I'm more than a match for most gods. But when I learned that my father was sick, I realized I couldn't do anything. I felt so weak despite being so strong. It was scary. It sounds pretty dumb, huh? Sorry, if I appear like a loser."
I know that feeling, that's the feeling I felt when I faced Riser and nothing that could beat him. Helplessness always sucked, and it always struck when you least expect it. Even to the strongest.
I placed a hand on her shoulder. And gave her a kind smile.
"It's not dumb at all. None of us are omnipotent. None of can do everything. Everyone is strong is different ways. While I can cure your father, you are incomprehensibly stronger than me. It's not a bad thing to rely on others. I know without knowing those I knew, I would have never gotten here. What I'm trying to say is..."
I made her look at me and gave the most sincere smile I could.
"Sera, I'll rely on you for the things I cannot do, so please rely on me for the things you cannot do. Isn't that what a husband and wife do?"
Serafall's eyes went comically wide as she stuttered.
"E-eh? Wait, wait, right. That's, huh? R-right, w-we are going to be married. That's right."
Before this, I was not too sure on it, but after seeing her at this moment, how she was so vulnerable and so human, I made up my mind about Serafall. Before, I just accepted her proposition because I needed to, but now, I could see myself actually marrying her.
But it seemed like I needed to demonstrate my seriousness better. And honestly? Seeing Sera like this made me want to return the teasing some more. So I took her by the hand and started walking away.
"E-eh, Yu-kun, where are you leading me-?"
Bam!
I kicked open the door to the large room where Lord Sitri and Sona were discussing something over some documents.
"Lord Sitri, I'd like to request Serafall's hand in marriage."
"Ehhhh!?!?!?"
That sound came out of both Sona and Serafall while Lord Sitri took a sip from cup of coffee, trying to hide a smirk.
"And Sona too."
"Huhhh!?!?!?!?!"
After all the trouble I suffered in the underworld, this is music to my ears.
Lord Sitri got up from his seat. Walked over to me and shook my hand with a smile on his face.
"Ah, youth, you remind me so much of myself. Son, you have my blessings."

"Thank you very much."
"HUH!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?"
I was going to be nagged so hard but this is so worth it.
A/N: Lord Sitri is cured, Yuta can officially cure the sleeping sickness. Surely this will not shake up the underworld for the nth time. I liked writing Sona and Serafall's reactions as well as their Dad, he is fun unlike Zeoticus. Shape altering will be very fun to use too.
Serafall used open up! It was super effective. Yuta used marriage proposal, it was super effective! Serafall and Sona have fainted! Yeah, Yuta is a very spontaneous person. He is a do first and regret kinda guy as we know and love already. And he does not do shit by half measures. I wonder how this decision will shake out for him. What did you guys think?
