It has been a month since team three was formed.
In the past month, Yaruichi created a couple of formations, strategies, and tactics for her team in order to prepare them for missions in the future.
The three genins adapt to these formations, strategies, and tactics very quickly and master them, which pleases Yruichi a lot.
In this past month, Yaruichi trained her genins in chakra control. Despite Kojiro training his chakra control with Onoki, he kept practicing the kunai hovering exercise to increase his proficiency with the exercise.
Now he could last 20 minutes when he performed the kunai hovering exercise, which is a great improvement compared to the past month.
Yaruichi also trained her genins in shinobi arts, focusing on strengthening their strong points and diminishing their weaknesses.
To do that, Yaruichi taught Aoi a Taijutsu style that suits him best; this style is called illusory fist.
The Illusory Fist Taijutsu style focuses on dodging and defending against the opponent's attacks; when the Taijutsu style user attacks the opponent, he or she attacks the opponent's blind spot.
Every day Aoi spars in Taijutsu against Kojiro and Soi Fon; his mastery in the illusory fist Taijutsu style improves by leaps and bounds.
It took Aoi only one month to master the basics of the illusory fist Taijutsu style.
Yaruichi also gave Aoi some genjutsu scrolls in order for him to improve his genjutsu skills.
When it comes to Kojiro, Yaruichi notices he lacks the knowledge of genjutsu, so she asks Aoi to tutor Kojiro with the basics of genjutsu while she and Soi Fon sparred with him in taijutsu, kenjutsu, and ninjutsu.
For Soi Fon Yaruichi discovered that her chakra affinity is wind, and she introduced the first wind chakra manipulation exercise to her, and she taught her a few basic wind-based ninjutsu after mastering the first wind chakra manipulation exercise.
Soi Fon also spars with Yauichi and Kojiro in taijutsu, kenjutsu, and ninjutsu a lot.
Right now Kojiro was standing in the training ground; his eyes were closed. After taking a deep breath, he squatted down and laid his palms on the ground.
His palms and his arms sank in the ground, then Kojiro started manipulating the ground, forming different shapes using the ground, like circles, triangles, squares, and many more different shapes.
Kojiro smiled widely after he saw the different shapes he created and said to himself, "I finally succeeded in completing this exercise."
"CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP."
Kojiro turned his head and saw Yaruichi and Soi Fon standing not far away. and Yaruichi clapping her hands together while smiling brightly.
However, Soi Fon was looking at Kojiro in jealousy.
After Yaruichi stopped clapping, she praised Kojiro, saying, "Well done, Kojiro, you succeeded in completing the earth chakra manipulation second exercise. Now you need to keep practicing this exercise to make it second nature to you."
Kojiro nodded his head in understanding, and he said to Yaruichi, "Understood, sensei."
At the same time Aoi arrived at the training ground; he smiled and started greeting his teammates and Yaruichi, saying, "Good morning, Soi Fon, Kojiro, sensei."
Yaruichi and Kojiro smiled at Aoi, and Soi Fon nodded her head to Aoi in greeting.
Yaruichi clapped her hands together again and said to her genins, "Alright, since everyone is here, let's get down to business. I think you kids are ready to take a C-rank mission now; let's go and request a C-rank mission from Lord Tsuchikage."
Kojiro, Aoi, and Soi Fon's eyes lit up when they heard this, and they nodded their heads in enthusiasm at Yaruichi.
Yaruichi then led her genins towards the Tsuchikage tower.

In the Tsuchikage office
"KNOCK, KNOCK."
"ENTER."
Yaruichi entered the office along with her genins Onoki smiled when he saw Yaruichi and her genin team.
"Hello, Yaruichi, What can I do for you today?" Onoki asked while smiling at Yaruichi.
Yaruichi smiled back at Onoki, and she answered him, "I am here to request a C-rank mission for my team, Lord Tsuchikage."
Onoki nodded his head while smiling at her; he then browsed through the scrolls on his desk and tossed a scroll to Yaruichi.
Yaruichi caught the scroll easily. She opened the scroll, and after reading its content, she smiled at Onoki and said to him, "Lord Tsuchikage, this mission is perfect for my team. Thank you very much. Now please excuse us."
After saying her farewell, Yaruichi and her team exited the Tsuchikage's office.

Outside the Tsuchikage tower
Yaruichi looked at her team and said to them, "Alright, kids, meet me at the village gate in one hour. Pack for at least one week. Do me a favor and don't pack anything unnecessary. I will advise you to go to the weapon shop to buy a new set of ninja tools from there for this mission."
Kojiro and his teammates nodded their heads when they heard what Yruichi just said; then they all went their separate directions to start preparing and getting ready for the mission.
