The next day, the Upper Echelons were in a frantic mood.
Thanks to the automobiles, the Conglomerates were able to receive their first resource delivery, allowing them to finally set up their business in New Sparta.
This was very alarming. The Upper Echelons thought they'd have at least another week before the Conglomerates got their foundation set up, giving them time to gain an advantage, but now they were the one running behind.
And this would continue on later down the line. Without the automobiles, they'd have no chance against the Conglomerates.
This was exactly what they feared.
Unfortunately for them, they underestimated the automobiles. It wasn't as fragile as they thought!
Now, they had to scramble to get one themselves or risk getting completely swallowed up by the sharks!
The easiest and cheapest option would be to simply queue up with the rest of New Sparta in buying automobiles.
