Of course, that was easier said than done. There were a lot of factors he needed to consider.
First, he needed to maneuver his drones just barely touching the edge of the Aubility's area of effect. Basically, he only needed the battery on the bottom of its frame to be in direct line of sight from the AP threads coming from their GodForge pieces.
That was a very slim margin. Too far and he wouldn't be able to charge his batteries. And too close, his drones would get caught up in the attack and possibly reveal their presence to the two Maugnetics.
And second, he needed to have perfect timing or else he'd miss entirely.
When an Aubility was cast and was 'attached' to reality, there was a brief moment when the GodForge pieces would supply it with tons of AP to start spreading the effect onto the other parts of reality.
