We all watch as the screen showed all possible activities, and within a few seconds they bag an to fade one by one.
"And the first round will be…" Midnight says through the mic as the choices dwindled down from fifty to thirty, and from thirty to ten…9…6, until only one remained.
(Escape room: model Daedalus' labyrinth)
"The escape room!!" She shouts as the audience cheers, as the screen shows what we were dealing with.
"In this round you must work to escape the labyrinth modeled after the famous architect Daedalus, and in this labyrinth there will be tons of obstacles and dangers, and if you are captured you are out!!" She explains as an animation of nezu finds himself caught by an robot Minotaur.
"You all have an hour and a half to escape the labyrinth, and when time is up the forty two closest people will move on!" Midnight finishes, and with a snap from her whip he says one final thing, "now start!"
And before any of us could react the ground opens beneath us opens and we all fall down, as a series of slides sort all the contestants out, and I fall onto the ground with a thud.
"Ooow!" I said with a grunt as I slowly get up, but before I could see my surroundings I hear a scream as someone else flies out and crashes right on top of me, "ow ow ow! That hurt." I hear the girl say as I open my eyes and see Momo straddling my crotch, much to my shock.
"Uh…momo…can you?" I began as she finally noticed me and looks down and with a steaming blush she quickly gets off of me and coughs into her hand, while still blushing.
"Right…sorry for that indecent display, so you are my partner Henry." She concludes as she reaches her hand out to help me up, but as she lifts me up I hear a third thud and see Charles using his quirk to make armor.
"Oh Henry! Man what luck getting you as a partner, and I see Momo's partnered with us too!" He enthusiastically says as all three of us look around and see a square 10x10x10m room with a table on the other side, on it were three wristbands, one it were two buttons, one side had a big X on it, while the other side had a big O on it.
"So should we put these on?" I ask my partners as we slowly move closer to the table and pick up a wristband, and as we do a bright light appears on out left, blinding us for a moment as our eyes slowly adjusted the light, and we find a screen recording with Nezu at his desk with his usual smile.
"Welcome to my labyrinth! As of right now you are 500 feet below the stadium and must climb your way up." The video states as we listen, "so to make it interesting I devised two different methods to climb the labyrinth, the first being solo climbing." He tells us as we see an animation of Nezu in an explorer's outfitwitha torch in hand as he solved puzzles, "and your method, the team method." And with that statement we see a new animation with Nezu, all might and Aizawa touring the maze.
"Now to the wristbands are simple, using the power of democracy you all must do a majority vote on what path you want to go through." He finishes with a final message stating the clock was ticking and when the video disappeared we find two options on the screen.
(I got inspired by hunterxhunter and decided to model the escape room using the labyrinth and the third phase hunter exam as a template)
(1)the easy way- this will give you the easy way out, with challenges that even toddlers can figure out. Perfect for babies and toddlers!
(2)the hard way- this option will push you to your absolute limits and more, it is not for the faint of heart so tread with caution.
The choice is yours.
As we read our options I look at Charles and Momo, "okay so we can either take the easy way, which is most definitely a trap and an insult, or the hard way where we will most likely be in constant danger, just not life threatening danger knowing our principle, so are you both thinking what im thinking?" I ask them, the clock metaphorically ticking as Charles looks at Momo.
"Henry has a point, Principle Nezu probably added the easy way as a trap, and from what dad has told me, Nezu loves treating his students like lab rats." Charles points out as Momo nods in understanding, "so I'm with Henry on this, we go the hard way."
Momo was weighing their words, and after a few moments she made her choice, "I understand, then we go the hard way." Momo says as we each press 2, and as we all pressed the screen shifted showing the number two, "so you chose the hard way! Proceed through that door." The automated voice said as we hear the sound of a door opening nearby.
I turn from the screen and see a door that was once part of the wall, it's depths dimly lit to show a corridor, but something felt… off about it.
1. Teleporter

Rewards- 1st try (a top hat)
2nd try (a healing quirk)
3rd try (slappy the doll)
4th try (???)
"So I was right, something was off." I tell Charles and Momo as they looked confused, "what do you mean by that Henry?" Momo asks as Charles pats me on the shoulder, "did your quirk activate?"
"Yeah, and it seems you two won't be affected." I tell them as I press a random option without looking, and in my hands I find one of the most imfamous items OG Henry owns.
The teleporter.
"Hey do you know how to use this?" Charles asks with a hint of caution to his voice as I shake my head, "Nope!" I tell the both with a pop as I look at all the buttons, and with my fingers slowly trembling I press random buttons before pressing enter.
Suddenly, I feel my body compress as if I was put under a hydraulic press before going down a tube made of sand paper before I find myself in an open field, with tall grass surrounding me, and a full moon above me.
But why was the moon coming closer?
I watch in shock as the moon rapidly approaches me and I can make out some features, like orange eyes and a mouth grimacing, it's teeth showing.

"Oh fuck that's the majora's mask moon…OH FUCK THAT'S THE MAJORA'S MASK MOON!!" I shout just moments before the moon collides with the earth and I get turned into human tomato soup.
Failure
Looks like you had a smashing time!
Retry?
I groan at the prompts remark before pressing the retry option and I find myself lying on the ground in front of Charles and Momo who were panicking.
"Im okay…so I now know the teleporter is a waste of time!" I tell them as I look down the corridor again and this time I notice some tiny holes in the walls, the holes reminding me of hidden traps you would find in Indiana Jones.
Slowly I begin to stand up as I look at the prompt again and see teleporter was crossed out this time, and so I looked at the other options.
"Uh Henry…why are you standing there?" I hear Momo asks nervously as I smile before turning to Charles, "hey Charles, how long can you keep that armor manifested?" I ask him as I try to figure out what comes out of those holes.
"As long as I keep focus I can keep my armor on for about an hour, but strenuous damage to the armor can put me out of commission" he answers without hesitation as i pick option 3 and in my hand I find…a set of DND dice.
"rolling for initiative." I tell my partners and without hesitation I shake the 20 sided die in my hand and let go as the die rolls it's number with a clatter noise before stopping.

"Nice!!" I shout, startling my partners as I turn to them both, "okay here's the plan, Charles when I say go you charge through the corridor in full armor." I instruct Charles as he smiles, "this is the greatest plaaaan! He says as his armor fully manifests.
"Okay aaand…GO!" I shout as he begins running through the doorway and just as he take the first step hundreds of tranquilizer darts started firing at him, but they barely made a dent as he runs 50 meters to the other end before stopping and turning around, "there's a stairwell on the other side!" He shouts to us as I give my buddy a thumbs up before turning to Momo.
"Okay Momo I need you to make two big shields, just big and wide enough to cover our sides, can you do it?" I ask her as she looks at me like ive said something dumb, "of course I can make them, but that will take a lot of lipids to make, but why two of them?"
"Because on both sides of that corridor there are hundreds, maybe thousands of tiny holes with tranquilizer darts, so if we both have a shield to cover our sides, we can walk through the corridor." I explain as she starts to get what I'm saying and with a rip of fabric on the back of her jacket she creates two Roman shields made of Kevlar.
"Nice! but why Kevlar?" I ask her as I pick up my shield and hold it up with my right hand.
"While metal is sturdier, Kevlar is lighter, so we can run without getting tired." She explains as I get the idea she was going for, and with her holding her shield up with her left arm, I wrap my left arm around her waist while she wraps her right arm around mine, "ready?" I ask her and with a nod of confirmation we both look ahead.
"Charge!"

Some a review on my black clover fic pointed out I wasn't fleshing out my chapters enought and that every chapter is like a scene transition for tv shows like drake and Josh, so I tried following his advice.
So did I do it right, if so let me know.
