Manel was waiting for him with everything ready. Any normal customer who had just gotten his license a few hours earlier wouldn't have thought of going straight for his new car, he would have waited until he had more practice, but Pablo's self-confidence was contagious.
"Well, you can take this marvel, we've left you with a full tank so you don't have to bother, the Vespa, however, only has a quarter of a tank, I'm telling you this so it doesn't leave you stranded. If you're going to remove the cows, remember that they're clip-ons. We've included that luggage rack, I think it'll be useful."
"Thanks Manel. How many kilometres before you come to have it checked?"
"Thirty thousand or a year. The van doesn't need a break-in per se, so as long as you don't take it over five thousand revolutions the first few days it will go without problems."
