"I killed Vic," Ade said softly.
"No." Bai Wei shook his head, pointing at the path of light ahead, "The one who killed Vic has already left, and you avenged Vic."
"Can it be counted like that?"
"Why not?" Bai Wei said with a smile, "If you really feel apologetic, wait until you see Vic and then apologize to him, or continue being his dog."
"I was Vic's dog... no, a wolf!"
"Yes, yes, yes, a wolf, a wolf."
Bai Wei's words made Ade's mood less heavy.
"Where do people go after they die?" It asked nervously, "Will I see Vic again?"
"Do you really want to know?" Bai Wei pointed at the path of light ahead again, "Then let's walk forward and see."
"Walk forward?"
"Yes, maybe Vic is waiting for you on the road ahead?"
Expectant light immediately shone in Ade's eyes, both nervous and hopeful.
So, one wolf and one man continued on their journey, just like they had always done since they met.
While walking forward, they chatted here and there.
