Chapter 319 - Chapter 318: Qian Ran’s Remarkable Healing Abilities

Too terrifying.

It would have been acceptable if Qian Ran were a cultivator of exceptional strength. But his cultivation level wasn't high—he was astonishingly young to wield such potent spiritual power.

His soul power was not only denser than that of his peers but several times more refined. More importantly, the immense vitality radiating from him signified a body brimming with health and life.

"Truly extraordinary. I never imagined there could be such a prodigy in this world," Wang Xian'er marveled.

When she first heard of the six-winged angel's appearance, she regretted missing the competition where its abilities were demonstrated. Now, seeing Qian Ran in person, she understood why Spirit Hall could dominate the soul master world for so long a thousand years ago.

If all six-winged angel martial souls were like this, it was no wonder they could crush any soul master of the same level.

"Your praise is undeserved, Healing Immortal Douluo," Qian Ran replied modestly.

Wang Xian'er controlled the power of life itself, capable of extracting life energy from her surroundings to perform miraculous healing.

Her strength was amplified in environments rich in vitality. For instance, in the Star Dou Forest, her abilities would elevate to another level. If she could access the Lake of Life, home of the Beast God Di Tian, her healing powers might rival those of an Ultimate Douluo.

Faced with such a venerable figure, Qian Ran maintained a respectful demeanor.

"Can you truly heal him? His physical injuries are manageable, but his martial soul…" Wang Xian'er's brows furrowed. Though her abilities involved injecting life force, restoring a damaged martial soul was another matter entirely.

"It shouldn't be a problem," Qian Ran said as he summoned his martial soul.

At that moment, the third eye on his forehead slowly opened, and an immense wave of vitality surged forth, flooding the room with life energy.

"This is…"

Wang Xian'er gasped aloud. The purity of this life force was unlike anything she had ever encountered. It overwhelmed her, even causing the bottleneck in her cultivation—a barrier untouched for sixty years—to loosen.

Her face lit up with joy. A single level of advancement for a Super Douluo was monumental, representing decades of additional life.

"Your Majesty, I need to retreat into seclusion for a time. If all goes well, I should be able to break through to Level 96," Wang Xian'er announced to Emperor Xu Jiawei, giving Qian Ran a meaningful glance before leaving in haste.

"She's breaking through?" Xu Jiawei exclaimed, overjoyed. A Super Douluo was a shield for the empire, and Wang Xian'er's breakthrough not only increased her strength but also extended her lifespan.

Since meeting Qian Ran, Xu Jiawei had noticed a streak of good fortune favoring the Star Luo Empire.

"Qian Ran is incredible!" Xu Jiujiu squealed with excitement, jumping up and down despite her royal upbringing. In her mind, Qian Ran was practically omnipotent.

She wasn't sure what insight Healing Immortal Douluo had gained, but she was certain it was related to Qian Ran's display of his martial soul.

Xu Jiujiu found herself constantly amazed by Qian Ran, who seemed capable of delivering surprises every day.

"Jiujiu, Qian Ran is vital to the empire. You must ensure you win his heart," Xu Jiawei reminded her urgently.

"He's truly remarkable," Zhu Ying murmured. Although unfamiliar with Wang Xian'er, she understood the significance of a breakthrough at such a level. For a Title Douluo, advancing a single rank was an arduous task, yet Qian Ran had somehow facilitated it.

Dai Hao's expression darkened as turbulent emotions churned within him. Qian Ran's talent filled him with both awe and dread. A man like Qian Ran, if not turned into an ally, would have to be eliminated before he became unstoppable.

But should he try to curry favor with Qian Ran or take another path? Dai Hao found himself paralyzed by indecision.

"Qian Ran…" Dai Yueheng's gaze was complicated as he looked at Qian Ran. Over the past few days, he had come to terms with his predicament. If he hadn't provoked Qian Ran in the first place, he wouldn't have ended up in such dire straits.

Now, seeing Qian Ran come to heal him, he was deeply moved.

Under Qian Ran's care, he could feel his body undergoing changes—far more profound than even Wang Xian'er's treatment. Her Healing Angel martial soul drew life energy from the heavens and earth, whereas Qian Ran himself seemed to radiate life as if his very being were a core of vitality in the universe.

"Healing a martial soul involves the brain and even the spiritual sea, so I'll need to put you into a deep sleep for the procedure. You'll awaken once the treatment is complete," Qian Ran explained, glancing at Dai Yueheng.

Perhaps due to his recent encounter with Zhu Ying, Qian Ran's gaze toward Dai Yueheng carried a peculiar undertone, though he did feel more kindly disposed toward him now.

After all, the frustration brought on by Dai Yueheng, Dai Huabin, and Dai Hao had been thoroughly soothed by Zhu Ying.

What kind of expressions would they wear if they learned the truth someday? Qian Ran didn't care. What mattered was that he was satisfied.

"Understood. Thank you," Dai Yueheng replied, closing his eyes and lying back on the bed.

"I need complete silence while treating Dai Yueheng. Everyone, please leave," Qian Ran said to the others in the room.

"No way! What if something happens to Yueheng while he's unconscious?" Dai Hao protested. There was no way he trusted Qian Ran to be alone with Dai Yueheng, especially when his son was vulnerable. Who knew what Qian Ran might do?

"I'll stay," Zhu Ying offered, biting her lip. She seemed to grasp Qian Ran's intentions, her heart pounding with both fear and anticipation.

"Fine. Just you, then. The rest of us will wait outside," Dai Hao relented.

Once the room was empty save for the two of them, Qian Ran smirked and pulled Zhu Ying closer, his hands wandering over her body.

"Please… not now," Zhu Ying whispered, panic in her voice. "Yueheng is right here…"

Her heart raced as she glanced at her unconscious son, despair welling up within her.

"I've already tampered with his mind. He's in a deep sleep and won't wake up for now," Qian Ran assured her before leaning in and pressing his lips to hers.

Zhu Ying, a woman starved for affection in her marriage, couldn't resist Qian Ran's advances. Soon, her protests faded, and her trembling hands wrapped around his neck, surrendering to his touch.
