Chapter 71 - The Kuoh Accord

The Kazuki before them now was nothing short of 'Bloody Demon'. Swallowing hard, Vali—no, everyone—could only watch as the battle reached its inevitable, climactic end.

'To take her down, I need a technique—an ultimate move—that can knock her out in a single strike. But if she halves its power, it'll be pointless. What do I do...?'

Then, it suddenly hit him. 'That's right—that technique!'

"What's wrong? Why the sudden distance?"

Vali tilted her head, puzzled as Kazuki deliberately created space between them.

"I'm about to unleash my final move. If you manage to dodge this absolutely unavoidable technique… then the victory is yours."

As Kazuki took his stance, Vali's cracked mask revealed glimpses of her delicate, doll-like face beneath, her lips curling into a smirk.

"Interesting—I'll take you on!"

The moment Vali declared that, Kazuki dashed straight at her.

And then—

Kazuki Fuwa charged directly at Vali. At first, she thought evading a frontal assault would be easy—until his figure suddenly vanished from her sight.

'He disappeared—?! Where?!'

"To your right, Vali!"

At Albion's warning, she snapped her gaze to the side—only for Kazuki to disappear again.

'Now where—?!'

"Below you, Vali!!"

She looked down just in time to see him inverted, his legs spread wide like the jaws of a dragon—

'Is this the real attack?! Tch—I can still make it!!'

She instantly recognized it—a blindingly fast technique meant to evade her vision and sever her head with a single kick.

"Jump, Vali!!"

The moment Albion's voice rang out, she leaped. Kazuki's legs crossed a fraction too late, slicing through empty air.

'—I've won!!'

Landing gracefully like a dragonfly, Vali was certain of her victory—until Kazuki's voice cut through the air.

—Fuwa Enmei-ryu Secret Technique: [Dragon Sunder]—

His voice brimmed with the same confidence of triumph.

And then—

Splurtch!!

A torrent of blood suddenly gushed from Vali's neck. The accumulated damage and massive blood loss sent her consciousness spiraling into darkness.

'I see… So this is [Dragon Sunder]…'

Now she understood the true nature of [Ryuha]Dragon Sunder. The spread legs mimicked a dragon's maw—whether the kick landed or not, the moment they crossed, a vacuum blade would slice through the target.

Even if she dodged the kick, the vacuum slash was unavoidable. Truly an inescapable technique.

Vali's breath hitched, her lithe body trembling as she collapsed to her knees. Her snow-white hair clung to sweat-slicked skin, cheeks flushed crimson.

"Ahhh… I-I climaxed… Let's fight again… s-sometime…," she panted, voice dripping with ragged euphoria.

"Vali! Stay conscious, Vali!!"

Albion's roar echoed futilely as the Divine Dividing armor dissolved into motes of light. Vali's strength drained, her vision blurring. She couldn't even muster a response before darkness swallowed her whole.

"It's over…"

Kazuki released his Balance Breaker —Bionic Armor, slumping to the ground with a groan.

His body ached—scorched and slashed in places, but Asia's healing could wait. Vali lay motionless nearby, her pale form marred by blood and bruises. Traitor or not, her power was invaluable. 'Better to stabilize her first,' he decided, though his plans were interrupted.

"—So? Who are you?"

A man clad in ornate Chinese armor materialized silently beside Vali, pressing a glowing talisman to her chest. The bleeding slowed instantly.

"Ease up, yeah? She'll die if I don't patch her up," he drawled, smirking beneath his helmet.

"Vali's real job was babysitting Katerea. But since she botched the big-shot assassinations and got herself iced, Vali should've bounced. Shame her nasty habit of picking fights kicked in… Didn't expect her to lose, though."

Kazuki scoffed. "Not in the mood to brawl. Take her if you want."

"Sweet. Name's Bikou —think of me as Vali's… teammate." He hoisted Vali over his shoulder, her limp legs swaying. "Nice to meet you, Guyver."

"Yeah, I'll remember that. Sun Wukong…"

Bikou grinned at Kazuki's words, tapping his staff. The ground beneath him rippled, shadows swallowing him whole. "Tsk, tsk, tsk, I'm a beautiful monkey - unlike the first one who became a Buddha, I live freely - Later, hero."

Kazuki let out a heavy sigh of relief, his tense shoulders finally relaxing as he watched the remnants of darkness fade. "Finally… It's over."

For the first time in what felt like hours, his shoulders loosened, and a tired sigh escaped him. His body, still tingling from the battle, finally began to relax.

"That issue with Katerea… that's a matter the Devils have to handle."

Sirzechs murmured grimly, his crimson eyes clouded with concern.

"No, Vali caused a mess on our side too."

Azazel let out a sigh, rubbing the back of his neck like a man who'd just finished babysitting a nest of dragons.

"The betrayal of Vali Lucifer was… significant," Michael added, his tone steeped in angelic calm. "But..."

Gabriel, standing beside him with serene grace, continued, "Yes. The White Dragon Emperor may have escaped, but fortunately, we suffered no casualties. And I believe everyone performed admirably.

"Yeah," Serafall chimed in with her usual brightness, though a faint shadow clung to her voice.

"Everyone gave it their all. Besides, now that a common enemy has appeared... doesn't that mean we'll all be working even more closely together from here on out?"

"Serafall's got the right idea," Sirzechs said, nodding. "Then, how about it? Shall we officially seal our alliance?"

"No objections!!"

All present forces shouted in unison.

A decision that had once seemed impossible was now a reality.

And so, under the shared will of three of the world's most powerful beings, the pact was forged.

"Then, I hereby declare the alliance of the Three Great Factions—Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels—officially established!!"

On that very day...

A monumental peace accord was signed by Archangel Michael, Satan Lucifer (Sirzechs), and Azazel, the Supreme Governor of Grigori—the Watchers of the Son of God.

News of the signing spread like wildfire through every pantheon and mythological realm.

At the same time, the world was alerted to a new threat: the emergence of a terrorist organization calling itself Khaos Brigade. A warning was issued to all supernatural factions, urging vigilance.

From this day forward, open warfare between the Three Great Powers was forbidden.

The old world was gone.

In its place, a new era of tense cooperation and shared survival would begin.

And the name of this peace treaty, named after the very battlefield it had been signed on, would echo through history as...

The Kuoh Accord.
