The Ring Seal Knight assumed a formal attack stance targeting Onora, and when the opponent charged forward, the knight slashed down with a sword, practically writing "Offense is the best defense" across their face.
But the slash missed, and Onora's attack didn't hit the Ring Seal Knight either.
Because she simply passed by them and ran off.
Not until the wind stirred by Onora's departure settled did the Ring Seal Knight turn to look at her retreating figure. Wait, no, she was already out of sight, having run off long ago.
What the heck...
The heated moment earlier made it seem like a thrilling and epic battle was about to unfold, but it turned out that the other party had just bolted.
The Ring Seal Knight stood in place for a few minutes, then resumed its original patrol, tirelessly like a robot that knows only how to patrol.
Elsewhere, Onora had already dashed out of the Ring Seal Knight's engagement range, just stopping her stride.
