As for the toxin...
Chrono was astonished to discover that this world actually had toxins he couldn't be immune to.
The Demon Clan, with their physique enhanced to extraordinary levels, were almost immune to various toxins due to the miasma present on the Demon Continent.
But now, the toxins inside Fran Fort were affecting them, and the accumulation speed wasn't slow either.
"This is a highly poisonous substance our bodies have never encountered before." Chrono quickly realized and then sliced through a nearby tree with his sword, rubbing its trunk a few times with his claws.
Wooden leg armor capable of temporarily isolating the toxin appeared.
The other demons handled it more straightforwardly, either toppling trees and wrapping vines around their feet or striding ahead briskly until they reached an open space to rest.
The nuisance caused by the toxins was limited for them.
