A middle-aged man in a white robe walked down the street, heading to the Resurrection House one block away.
Besides working at the Resurrection House, he also ran a small clinic, so he could be considered a doctor. He liked being called doctor because it sounded very dignified.
The doctor walked down the street, glancing left and right, occasionally pausing as if the street's scenery had endless allure for him.
"Step aside, don't block the way."
The voice from behind made him quickly move a few steps to the side, and soon after, he saw workers carrying a white stone sculpture pass by, panting heavily, with a pungent odor of sweat wafting into his nostrils.
The doctor recognized the sculpture and couldn't help but ask the workers, "When can it be installed at 36 Nite Street? I've been waiting at home in advance."
