Guard Captain Oron, carrying a broadsword on his shoulder, had donned a silver helmet and was the first to charge down the city walls, heading straight for the massive siege carriage.
A dense rain of arrows fell from the sky, yet his steps did not falter. He simply held the broadsword horizontally in front of him, with the continuous sound of arrows clanging against it.
