That was the voice of the Champion Cloak, greeting Yang Chen, the 'old comrade', along with Yang Chen's own Champion Cloak.
This surprised Yang Chen, prompting him to look at Li Ye Lai.
"It occasionally communicates with us." Li Ye Lai shrugged. The Champion Cloak has self-awareness, having absorbed the blood of countless Human Champions and their enemies, resulting in a subtle transformation.
It has experienced so many generations of champions, but which generation's character does it resemble most?
"This is surprising. Does the future cloak already have this kind of self-awareness? The Eight? So, does it call you the Nine?" Yang Chen pondered for a moment and asked, "If the champions in the future are numbered in triple digits, what would it call them? One hundred and eight?"
"Who knows?" Li Ye Lai shook his head.
