Starry Sky, within the borders of the Carli Empire
Although not all the secret bases of the Three Great Civilizations are located at the edge of the explored universe, quite a few are hidden within the nihility space between the star systems in the core region of the starry sky.
However, with the Star Gate present, the sheer distance often cannot be calculated directly.
After all, within the explored universe, the frequency of civilian spacecraft passing through increases, and to ensure safety, the coordinates of bases are set to be exceptionally far from star systems, even in the vast nihility space between them.
To return from the nihility space to the interior of a star system, one can only choose the arduous path of warp travel.
Moreover, being further from the star systems, more time is needed to locate the Star Gate.
