West Sea, in the midst of a scorching summer.
The sun on the summer solstice was fiercely hot. However, to call it "scorching summer" might not be quite accurate. Due to the Coriolis effect, there were constant westerly winds here. The gentle sea breeze swept away too much heat and brought a considerable amount of moisture. As long as one wasn't directly under the sun's blaze, it wouldn't be uncomfortably hot.
The soft sea breeze lifted waves that were neither too high nor too low, with only a few rocks occasionally peeking through the water.
But beneath this calm surface, there were dangers lurking at every turn.
All because this was the West Sea, the location of the Holy Dragon Abyss.
