As the car passed by the Royal Palace, Little Lian forgot about her ice cream and pressed her face close to the car window.
She looked outside curiously, and only turned back after the view was gone.
"Aunt Che, what place is that?"
"The Royal Palace," Kiyono Lin answered instead of Dubian Che, "Little Lian, which Emperor is it now?"
"Naruhito," Little Lian raised her hand, answering in the manner of one buzzing in.
"What was Tokyo's old name?"
Little Lian put her hand down.
"Edo," said Kiyono Lin, "In July of Year 4 of the Keio era, which is September 1868, it was renamed Tokyo. Remember that well, I'll test you again when we return."
Little Lian looked toward Dubian Che.
"It's no use looking at him, if you can't answer, I will scold him as well."
"You're really sticking your nose into too much," Jiutiao Meiji glanced disapprovingly at Kiyono Lin.
