"No, this isn't a dream!" Xiaoquan Aonai suddenly stood up, knocking the stool away with her calf.
"This certainly isn't a dream, Mr. Dubian," the physics teacher said sternly.
"Ha ha ha." The classroom erupted in laughter, two voices particularly loud and grating.
The laughter was clearly nearby, yet Xiaoquan Aonai felt it was distant.
She had a vague feeling something was off yesterday, for how could a dream be this realistic?
But what other explanation could there be? Hadn't she even woken up halfway through?
"Mr. Dubian, how long do you intend to stand?
Xiaoquan Aonai snapped back to reality and, out of instinct as a student, immediately apologized, "Sorry!"
She sat down, looking bewildered.
"Ladies, let's continue with the lesson."
Another round of laughter followed.
