There was no hint of a smile on Shiyu Ling's face as she coldly said, "I hate people who exploit children the most."
Gongsun Ce gently patted her back to comfort her as they walked around the primary school building. Ru Fu Public Primary School is a boarding school, and the children have two hours of free time before bed. They saw that the children in each class were glued to TV programs, with a few classes watching comedy movies.
"We have always prided ourselves on our traditional school spirit; usually, the children would read books in the evening, listening to teachers recite fairy tales, poetry, or stories from scriptures for them," a young class teacher told them sadly. "But recently, I don't know why, the children have been resistant to everything, even music makes them restless. Now we can only play some TV programs; it's better than having them do nothing."
