"My head hurts..."
The Nightmare God woke up from a nightmare and vigorously rubbed his head, which was entirely composed of black mist. He was an Innate Divine and one of the oldest divinities, but as time passed, he gradually absorbed various new beliefs. Thus, his mental state also transitioned from the initial desirelessness, acting solely based on his Divine Position, to slowly becoming more humanized.
He was not averse to this change; in fact, he preferred the feeling now, as opposed to indifferently inflicting nightmares on every human like a natural phenomenon. Even his personality now had elements derived from the Cognition of his believers.
Of course, this wasn't really a problem. With the gradual elevation of his humanity, he also started mastering how to merge, contain, and create more Divine Positions, actively allowing himself to undergo more Transformations.
But this was the first time he encountered such a headache-inducing situation in millions of years.
