It all starts with the preparation for the Wang Foundation charity gala.
For Zhou Wang, it was his first time in Magic City, and possibly the second time after the "Wuyou Night" to make an appearance in a public business setting. Whether Zhou Wang wanted to take it seriously or not, it was destined to be an extremely significant event.
Just the preliminary work had Xu Wenqian running around Magic City for more than two months. When the date of the gala was set, Xu Wenqian, along with Lin Ran, and the hastily adapted Qi Jiayi, were so busy they were dizzy. Zhou Wang barely saw a shadow of them in this past week.
This was even with the assistance of a third-party company, so you could imagine how busy they were. Occasionally bumping into Xu Wenqian at home, Zhou Wang noticed she had lost a lot of weight; her chin sharp enough to play an elf.
But Zhou Wang himself wasn't having an easy time either.
