"We're strangers. If you continue to pester me, I'm calling the police," Ye Fan said, his indifferent tone carrying a hint of ice.
"Sister, I think you went too far," Qin Mengyao warned.
Qin Yanran knew it, too, and quickly stepped forward to defuse the awkward situation. Meanwhile, Su Qingxue's chest was heaving with rage. She furiously raised her hand and swung it at him.
But Ye Fan caught her wrist. Though he had amnesia, his reflexes were still sharp. Blocking her slap was child's play for him. Su Qingxue struggled fiercely, but when she couldn't break free, she lost her balance and stumbled into his arms.
Ye Fan immediately pushed her away. "I'll forgive you for being unreasonable this once," he said coolly. "If there's a next time, I'll fight back."
