"I have one last request. You must promise me. If you don't, I won't let you off even as a ghost!" Alice said weakly.
Ye Fan replied, "I promise you!"
"If there's still a chance, would you be willing to marry me?" Alice asked longingly, as if this was the one scene she most wanted to witness. She awaited Ye Fan's answer with bated breath.
Ye Fan hesitated, unsure how to respond to her question.
"It's come to this! Can't you just agree to the Holy Daughter's request?" the Yan Clan Patriarch chided.
"That's right! This is the Holy Daughter's only wish. Kid, show some manly spirit!" the Great Elder added.
Ye Fan immediately declared, "If there's still a chance, I am willing to marry you!"
"Really?" Alice asked, a sudden wave of delight washing over her. "You…?"
