"Son, how far into the future have you seen?" Lucas asked.
Alaric's knowledge of the future would be beneficial for the household. He could stop certain tragedies from occurring and he could also prepare for what was to come.
With a deep sigh, Alaric replied. "I have lived for over thirty years in my past life, but I only remember the significant events. The rest are fragmented in my memories."
"I know what you are thinking, Dad…"
He looked at Lucas and shook his head.
"I don't want to rely too much on my knowledge of the future. Things are already going differently from what I remember. I don't even know what would happen next."
"I see…" Lucas nodded, deep in thought.
"Son, you should go out and enjoy the festivities. You can bring your baby sister with you. She needs a little exposure to sunlight so she can grow into a healthy young lady." Maria gave him an excuse to leave.
