Ronald's lone figure
slowly emerged on the sea surface by the Spring's edge.
The flow of time inside and outside the trial held certain discrepancies. While Ronald faced various choices in the trial, huge changes had already occurred on the battlefield at Springs.
The battle, which was originally located in the coastal region, had now shifted eastwards along the coastline to the outskirts of the city. The exaggeratedly large sea monster now lay barely breathing on the city ground, its magical aura whittled down to nearly nothing.
As expected.
Queen Dantrian had successfully dealt with the creature.

"Phew——"
At this very moment,
Ronald, floating on the sea, let out a long breath and then slowly opened his eyes.
The emotion in his eyes
still lingered on everything that had happened during the trial just now.
Deserving of the trial from "Divine Comedy," perhaps…
