Lance did not refuse. This young man was named Ted, a newly promoted team leader. He walked to the wall and lit a cigarette.
Under Stone's incredulous gaze, Ted walked over and punched Stone in the stomach.
In an instant, that intense pain, as if his guts were being torn apart, began to attack him, giving him a nauseous urge.
His body was tied to the chair, the only thing he could do was curl up as much as possible, as if this could lessen the pain in his stomach.
But Ted didn't give him more time to experience these feelings. Instead, he grabbed his hair to lift his head, then punched him hard in the face.
The immense force made even Ted lose his grip on his hair, leaving a tuft of hair in his hand while Stone fell backward.
Fortunately, someone beside him caught the chair, otherwise, this fall would not have been light.
