Lili brought out a basin of water, "Come here and wash your hands, then we can eat."
Although they were dissatisfied in their hearts, they dared not show it on their faces, as it was someone else's territory. So, they obediently went to wash their hands.
However, as they washed, the water turned black, and they all felt awkward. Lili seemed not to mind at all, and after they finished washing, she tossed the used water into a non-irritating vegetable patch and scooped up another basin of water, "Wash again, this water is hot, it can warm your hands."
Lili was very considerate, not mentioning how dirty their hands were or that one wash wasn't enough. She expressed her thoughts in a different way.
The family just wanted to quickly eat their meal, so without hesitation, they washed their hands clean and then got the chance to sit down.
Once they were all seated, Lili picked a basket full of steamed buns, the kind that were hot and steaming, which looked very appetizing.
