"Why that face?" Hecate stepped forward, strands of her crimson hair dancing with the calm breeze of the desolate landscape.
"Your opponent is in front of you. Worry about yourself first." Her rosy lips curled into a gentle smile as golden amber glinted from her velvet eyes.
She became a blur, prompting the Marquis to lower his stance and prepare for a counterattack. Silence permeated the air as a soothing voice whispered from beside his ear.
"Be careful..." Without any hesitation or delay, he hurled his fist towards the voice, yet there was nothing and no one beside him.
