Bullets fly in the air as her men seek shelter.
" Move, move, move." the captain said.
Mina rested her hand on her chin as she watched what was going on. One of their territory had been ambushed and she couldn't just sit there. Her other hand cradles little Ellie's cot. It's almost midnight.
" Ben, make sure we get their captain. If not then kill him, and find who is behind this." Mina snapped.
The door to her room opened slightly. Minas head snapped towards it. Her other hand grabbed the gun which was beside her laptop. Before she could shoot at that person Naarah entered with her arms raised.
" Girl, chill. It's me. " her voice quivered.
A heavy sigh left her lips.
"What are you doing? It's almost midnight." Mina questioned.
Naarah made her way to her bed and sat down. She raised her head at Mina.
" I was going to get water when I heard you talking.
What's going on?" she asked as her head tilted to the side.
"There's been an ambush. Sector C had been attacked. And we need to find who is behind all this."
"What? "
" I have to go there and make sure our men don't die. Ben is at it but I need to be there."
" Are you crazy?!" Naarah exclaimed. She looked at her niece before lowering her voice.
" Are you stupid? You just had a baby and you're going to a battlefield. The hell. That isn't your job, girl. It's my cousin and he'd better show up before I lose my cool." Naarah said throwing her hands to the wind.
Mina slammed the laptop shut before she turned towards her friend;
" We haven't gotten any news on the whereabouts of your cousin. I'm in charge now. I need to make sure his men, are safe. I can't just sit here."
Before Naarah could get any words out of her mouth. Mina's phone rang.
She answered it swiftly;
" Boss. We couldn't get the captain but we have the second in command"
"That's good. Send him to the warehouse. I'll be there tomorrow."
