Veins pop from his neck. He was going to finish her- for Mina. He slipped into the car. He was going to face her alone. He was still investigating her but he hadn't gotten any concrete evidence, however, his men were at it. Aaron gripped the steering wheel tightly. His grip on the gear shift. Looking at the road ahead of him. His eyes darkened. His fingers twitch. He needed blood- and he knew whose name carried it.
The road narrowed. Trees leaned in like they were listening. Aaron's foot hovered on the gas. He drove to the highway. The hotel came into view. The red light glared ahead. But the car wouldn't stop. His skin crawled. Something was wrong. Someone has tampered with the brakes. His foot hit the brakes but it wasn't budging.
" Shit." he cursed under his breath.
" C'mon"
He said as his foot kept hitting the brakes. The truck in front of him loomed closer. His pulse roared in his ears. Not now. Not like this. His instincts kicked in. He was not ready to die. Not when he hasn't avenged his princess.
He opened the passenger seat swiftly and jumped out.
Begins an explosion of steel, fire and glass
Aaron rolled himself to the other side of the road.

The door opened swiftly. Mina turned to look at the person.
" Mina…. Aaron." Naarah stuttered.
" What happened to him?" Mina shrieked.
Naarah stumbled forward.
" Tell me!" Mina yelled
Naarah looked at her with her blood drained form herself. She couldn't find the right words to tell her friend.
She was with the baby when one of the guards came rushing to her. The only thing he said was that they couldn't find Aaron on the device.
"He… he had an accident on the highway."
Before Mina could react the reporter from the TV said;
" A man is presumed dead after a late-night vehicle crash occurred on Route 45 near Willow Creek Street. Authorities confirmed, Aaron Vetercio. The sole heir of the Vetercio family and the only survivor left. He was reportedly travelling alone when his vehicle veered off the road and collided with a grandrail before exploding into flames."
" No…no" Mina said.
She couldn't stand on her feet, because she wasn't fully well.
Naarah rushed towards her.
" He isn't dead, girl. My cousin is a fighter. He wouldn't leave you and the baby." Naarah comforted her.
" She is right, Mina. Aaron wouldn't die. Scratch that he is not dead.
