I woke up to the blaring sound of my alarm, groaning and frowning. I had to get up early for work otherwise, my boss, William, would eat me alive.
The first thing I did was tidy up my room. Then I went to the bathroom to shower, brush my teeth, and shampoo my hair. In less than fifteen minutes, I was done. After leaving the bathroom, I dried my hair, applied cream to my body, got dressed, and put on a little makeup.
I was serving customers their orders when William, my boss, called me over.
"Go to the VIP booth and attend to them," he said.
"Ask Rachel to do it, sir. I'm kind of busy here," I replied, still focused on my customers.
"Leave the customers, Daniel will take care of them for you. Rachel is off duty today, so you'll be the one attending to them," William said firmly.
"Okay, sir," I sighed, groaning inwardly.
I won't lie I was nervous. It was my first time attending to anyone in the VIP booth.
