Beneath the glistening moon, youth and passion arise.
Born as a bastard child of the King and a maid, she was ousted at birth.
Her mother decided to leave the castle and protect her, though staying in the castle miht seem good, mockery and ridicule will always follow the "woman who seduced the king".
Abused and used, she doesn't have any power nor evidence to protect her name, so she ran away, and decided to protect the child she conceived.
But, the king is not so merciful. Lustful and drunk in his power, he decided to paint her black and let people imprison her.
With the added reward of having their way on her, many people began the search and searched for her. As they did not find help, it was a miracle that they got out of the kingdom unscathed.
Though there are still people who chased them outside, they managed to avoid them and stumbled upon a humble house in the forest.
Upon careful look, this is not an ordinary house, but then, they have no choice but to go in.
Inside, is a dusty, dimly lit housex and the only light it has is the moon that hung from above.
As she looked at it, the momentary peace it brings in her heart opened new possibilities.
And tonight, that peacefulness was bothered.
Her aloof cover was blown, her body in tatters, and a foreboding feeling keeps on creeping up her head.
The little thieving cats made her angry, but now, another group wants to destroy the things she has built.
And now, the witches she has taken care of, all sprawling down the ground.
"RAAAAAAAHHH!"
A low pitched roar exhoed through the air. Her opposition was sent into disarray.
Without waiting for her opponent to catch their breaths, she lunged forward as she brandished her claws. Purple and blue energies swirled around her hand as they form long nails that even cut through air.
Seeing this, the group stood up, but because they do not know each other's perks, strengths and weaknesses, it created a gap in their defense.
"YOU FIRST!"
The Queen shouted as she flew towards the ten people. Arriving in front of Parm, she kicked his shield as she somersaulted in the air.
Creating this gap, she jumped towards Jayce, who was preparing a buff in the backline.
The Queen then pointed her finger to Jayce, and fired a single beam of darkness.
"Pierce!"
CRACK!
A shield appeared before Jayce, and in that split second, a blinding light appeared from his hand.
"JUDGMENT!"
A low, deep voice resounded as a ray of light fell to the Queen.
The light burned the skin of the Queen instantly, and her body convulsed due to the light.
"ARRRGHH!"
Her shrill voice was heard as she squirmed and flipped over and over as the light punished her.
"NOOOOO! HELP ME, MOR--"
CRACK!
An eerie crack was heard before she can finish speaking.
As it was like an oven baked fished that was covered with salt, her body produced porcelain like cracks as ominous gases and lights appeared from the cracks.
It looked like time has stopped, but now, an entirely different enemy is approaching.
Zypher, who saw this, turned pale as he rushed forming his weapon. The Soul, Shadow and Blood weapon on his hands are fighting, as he was trying to feed the Shadow and Soul weapons to the Blood weapon to maximize it's effects.
CRACK!
Another eerie sound resounded as the body of the Queen became ash slowly.
After the ash scattered, the team did not feel any slack, or relaxation.
Instead, a new type of tension formed as a child appeared on the place where the body of the Queen disappeared.
The kid has has a lean body, black line on her face, stretching from her eyes to her cheek.
She was currently in fetal position, but her striking hair, with a mix of blue and red compliments each other.
Her black dress made of lace is burning with purple fire.
"..n."
It was below his breath, but every body heard what Zypher had said.
Gripping their weapons, everybody stood still, afraid of waking the beast up.
Due to the tension in the air, everyone had ragged breaths, and was almost choking. Cold sweat was running down their backs.
As Tania and Leonila looked at the little girl, they made a handsign for their team to step back carefully.
Counting to three, they have to step back, as quietly as possible, as slow as possible, without disturbing the girl.
They now know why the dungeon can't be closed.
And they must report it back to the ones outside if they want to close this.
First step...
Okay. They did well, and no sound was made.
Second step....
Still, no sound made, no anything.
But on the third step, something happened.
"Oh, are you running now?"
An unfamiliar voice was suddenly heard behind Jayce.
"YOU!"
BANG!
A deafening sound echoed as Jayce was sent flying towards the east part of the room.
"Jayce!"
Esther rushed towards the flying Jayce towards her, but a mighty force flung her back, making her roll over the floor.
"Piece of sh*t." Tania did a somersault as she cocked her gun and fired towards the wild charging kid.
But, a few bullets were deflected by mere hand. And, the others were dodged.
Black shadow streaked through the whole place, and the target? Zypher.
"Protect him!" Leonila shouted, but only five people moved.
"These people." Leonila grunted as she ran towards Zypher who was busy merging his weapon.
In truth, Zypher only knew about this weapon in his past life. It was one of the strongest weapon in the game, that almost broke the balance.
Nerfs were almost a rarity in the game, but not less than the legendary classes, and this weapon, is one of the nerfs in the game.
This weapon is almost accessible to all players, and packs a lot of punch in it. When players became aware of it, they started farming it, and the game went out of control.
Due to this, the AI decided to lower the drop rate and fusion rate of the said item become lower. The players tried to farm it, but always met failure along the way.
Yet, surprisingly, the players who's already gotten it before the nerf was not banned or whatever. The items were still there, and still usable, but, the nerf came to them when one passive came to the said item.
Corrosion.
In return to it's high damage, the item becomes corroded, and will break upon certain number of use. Thus, the item became just a decoration, and sometimes was called a paper cannon.
High damage, one time use.
Zypher was also one of the people who held these kinds of weapons. As the brain of his guild, Caelestia, he made forms of it, and made his name in the field.
But then, the patch hurt him, but what can he do?
But now, without that patch, he can use it, according to how he used it in his past life.
BANG!
Billowing smole appeared as the black shadow appeared behind it. Some attacks were sent, but clearly, it did not damage her. From a few scratches on her dress, her skin is still smooth, but the others were panting and tired.
"Pests are pests until the end." She yawned as she readied a skill of hers.
"You all will die now." Ice, Fire and Poison were being congealed in her hand.
"STOP HER!" Jayce shouted. Parm and Leonila ran towards her as Esther and Tania shoot at her, but her sheer speed made her invisible in their eyes.
And the skills are just congealed there, peacefully, like a baby rocked on a hammock.
Red, green and blue energies started to swirl up, but then, a bullet arrived at her hand.
Tania, who was shooting wildly at first, created a first major breakthrough, but, that was it.
A kick suddenly appeared behind her, sending her hurtling towards the others. Like a bowling ball thrown towards the pins, the others were also thrown back.
"And you, I'll deal with you first."
Crackle!
A small lighting was sent towards Zypher, and the speed was too fast thay it exploded before he can react.
BANG!
A body flew out and blood can be seen flying around.
The game, although from Artificial Intelligence, has some sense of realism to it. Blood, gore and other things are vividly reimagined and almost being able to live in another life.
The pain, can be turned down, but as NPCs, the sense of dread in them are much more than it seems, especially Leonila.
"ZYPHER!" Leonila ran as fast as she cpuld towards where Zypher was flying to, but she was too late and rubble began to fall down to his body.
As she arrived, she was about to clear rubble when a laugh was heard behind her.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, YOU'RE DONE NOW!"
The elements created a conic spiral that spun wildly.
"ELEMENTAL SPIKE!"
The spinning cone was like a drill, and the others were too stunned to move, especially Tania who was just recovering from the kick.
Jayce, who was near her, can not also stand up as he was too exhausted to move.
The others were also a few meters away from them.
In short, it was the end of them.
NPCs like them are just a bunch of data, and once they "die" that data will be deleted, and many other things can happen in the game.
For once, Tania is a character that will be a "protagonist" of the game. She and Leonila has a certain chemistry that are close to rivals, but are also like sisters.
Dying here means that someone may, might, or will take over that position, but things are also going to be harder than expected.
If Tania dies, a whole new ordeal will happen to Rigus Kingdom, and the battle for the throne may have another impact on the story of the game.
This impact will create a domino effect, and will make the progression of the story, and might create another variable.
Thus, becoming another timeline different from what Zypher has in his past life.
And that will implicate him, and his guild that he wanted to build.
And that is.....
Unacceptable.
BANG!
A sudden streak of lightning appeared as a weapon flew out of rubble.
A circular disc, with blades extending outwards.
It looks like a gear, but sharp blades are protruding out of it. There is a handle at the middle and some holes on the rim of it.
The disc is spinning around wildly, and as it spun, the drill came to stop, and like a vacuum, it sucked up the said attack.
"SHLLUUUUP!"
Breaking the sound barrier, the attack vanished as soon at it hit the said disc.
As everyone was in awe about the little spinning disc, a hand grabbed it, and four holes, our of eight, glowed.
"Thank you for protecting me."
Zypher said as he took the disc, and spun it on his hand.
A whirring sound was heard, and Zypher held the handle in the middle with two hands.
He pulled it apart, and two new weapons appeard: a semi-circle knuckle.
Stretching, and pumping his body, he equipped the two knuckles, and looked at the kid.
You know, I must thank you.
He said it as the two knuckles, began emitting two energies.
On his right, was lightning that was dark, and filled with corrosive green energy.
And on his left, is blue fire that interchanges from hot to cold, but is also dark in nature.
As Zypher was looking at it, a panel was shown before him, and his smile almost turned into a grin.
