Audrey had finally found Frey after spending countless years searching for him.
The moment she saw him, she burst into tears and threw herself into his arms, clinging to him as though he were nothing more than an illusion that might disappear the instant she let go. She continued holding him tightly, sobbing in a trembling voice, until her exhausted body finally gave out and she lost consciousness once again in Frey's embrace.
"All that commotion, only to faint two minutes after waking up? How pathetic!" Maskith grumbled, clearly unimpressed by Audrey's weakness and her inability to remain conscious.
"She's spent a very long time imprisoned here while her body was continuously drained. Of course it'll take some time for her to recover," Frey replied, carefully lifting Audrey into his arms before carrying her back to bed. He laid her down gently, allowing her to rest after the overwhelming emotions she had experienced upon regaining her memories.
