To be fair, Xu Chuning felt that Shen Yubai's piano skills were a bit better than Shen Sinian's.
Although she didn't understand piano music and couldn't quite discern the differences between their performances, she just felt that Shen Yubai's playing was smoother and more pleasant to the ear.
Even though she spent the latter half of the piece daydreaming.
But that was the conclusion she arrived at anyway.
When the piece ended, Xu Chuning snapped back to reality, "Is it over?"
Shen Yubai rarely saw her with such a dazed and silly expression; his face softened slightly as he hummed a faint acknowledgment, "Haven't had enough?"
Xu Chuning: "...A little."
Shen Yubai paused, not expecting her to so honestly echo his sentiment.
"I'll play for you again next time," Shen Yubai said, "We should head back to the classroom for rest."
He was worried that if they didn't return soon, Xu Chuning would lack energy for the afternoon classes.
