After agreeing to go to the hospital together the next day, Xu Chuning put down her phone to sleep.
She struggled for a while, possibly weighed down by worries, and only managed to fall asleep around midnight.
The next morning, Xu Chuning wasn't surprised to wake up over an hour late.
By the time she finished her routine and dashed to the small shop, You Shuzhen was busy.
"Mom, I'm late."
Seeing her, You Shuzhen smiled, "Did you sleep well?"
Xu Chuning hummed affirmatively, a bit embarrassed, "Why didn't you wake me?"
"You were sleeping so soundly, I didn't have the heart to," You Shuzhen replied.
Hearing this, Xu Chuning froze for a few seconds, "Mom, let me help you."
She quickly adjusted her mood and said with a bright smile.
You Shuzhen: "Okay."
After the mother and daughter were busy for a while and checking the time, Xu Chuning left for school with her backpack.
