Last chapter of the story before the new version
(N/A: Hi guys, I know that I haven't been here for quite some time. But life destroyed me a few months ago. I lost a lot of close family in quick succession, along with being let go from my job, my car being damaged to the point that I had to get a new one, and part of my roof fell, my washing machine and dryer broke down, along with my freezer causing a lot of groceries that I bought days earlier
So...not a good year...at all
Before I forget, I also broke my arm, right after healing from my broken leg from an accident earlier in 2025, when a lady slammed her truck into my car
Still alive, honestly, I am lucky I had some really good health insurance, and I broke my arm during work before my workplace went into bankruptcy, and I had workers' comp and honestly, with everything that has ended up happening, I wasn't able to find it in me to keep writing even with my Angelus story being a major focus at the moment, I am still writing it, I just haven't released the chapters yet since I am still researching a lot of stuff
Now...going to this story, I am ashamed at how it was turning out or rather, the pacing of it, and I still don't like the way it's going. I like a lot of the concepts, but a lot of it just...doesn't fit the way I wanted it...so...another go I guess, but word of warning though...I am going to have three stories active at the same time
I know...shocker
But, not all at once
I am going to start with my story, The Gold Sentry in DC, with a small twist, which, to be honest, is going to be a short story, like 50 to 60 chapters or so, depending on how the plot develops and feedback, or...I can go with my other story idea of a guy from the Nasuverse participating in the Great Holy Grail War and shit going sideways due to him participating or my other idea of someone reincarnating as Percy Jackson and basically having Vegeta's level of discipline to get stronger or how about a guy reborn as a Senju in Naruto, but not, in Konoha but Kumo...but surprise, Konoha was destroyed...ooohhh
Keep in mind that the other stories aside from the Sentry one, are going to be longer, not a lot, but still long
On top of this story and my Angelus one, I am excited to get back into writing

Also, the newer version of the new version will be uploaded here. I am just going to shift stuff around so you guys can re-read these chapters

#VEGITO POV#
I look at the flag as it sways around
Wordlessly, I blast the damn thing from existence without a second thought
"Vegito..." I turn around to see a Yardrat soldier coming near me and I resist the urge to frown
Yardrat doesn't have many fighters from what I remember
The fact that there are any left tells me several things
They are either more skilled than I thought, or what's left of the Friezaforce wasn't taking them too seriously
It could even be both
"Yes,"
"Elder Pybara would like to speak with you," He tells me and I barely catch his tone changing as fear creeps into his voice at the end
"Lead the way," I tell him while trying to calm myself down from blasting the flag
"Come," He says as he starts floating and I follow him
I take several looks around the city and frown again
From Goku's memories, the Yardrats must have numbered in the millions or so when he was here due to the amount of energy that they were giving off collectively
I can sense the amount of energy has dropped significantly
I may not have met them before but through Goku's memories, I can tell that they were good people overall
They didn't deserve this...
I follow wordlessly toward where Pybara is and my heart nearly stops as I arrive at a somewhat familiar place
The healing area where Goku was taken to when he first arrived
"Please land and make no threatening gestures. The people here will not hesitate to attack you," The Yardrat I am following tells me and I just nod at him as I follow
Landing on the ground, he makes sure to walk in front of me
As we walk, I spread my senses around and flinch as I feel the slowly fading energies from dozens of Yardrats dying
We soon arrive at a building where I can sense most of the injured ones
"Pybara," I greet him, recognizing from Goku's memories
"Goku must have told you much more about us than I thought. It is...pleasant to meet you," He says walking toward someone's bed and extending his hands a calm white aura surrounds him as the Yardrat on the bed who was breathing heavily, takes a deep breath and slowly starts to relax
That is when I noticed the state that Pybara is in...
"You are exhausted," I tell him
"I am, even if this is a clone, I can only do so much before I have to merge together before the consequences become more severe," He says while focusing on healing the injured
I observe the process intently
He continues on healing the injured as much as he can getting them out of near-death states to somewhat stable conditions
All the while I catch him sending glances at me curious about me
At one point a look of realization comes over his face
"You are not a natural being are you?" He asks out of the blue and I just nod
"I figured, your energy is similar enough to Goku and someone else's. If I didn't know better, I would say that you were the result of a fusion, but your soul doesn't have that same burning innocence that Goku does," He notes out loud
"I am what you would call a clone," I tell him and he just nods at that
"Alright," He takes it in stride causing me to blink
"Wait, you just accept it," I say a bit flabbergasted
"Yes, the concept of clones is not unknown to us, as you may know," He says while I catch a brief glimpse of relief in his voice
"Of course," I say remembering the fact that they can split into clones
"You were here for training weren't you?" He says
"Yes, I want to complete my training in Spirit Control," I answer him honestly
"Unfortunately, I don't have the time to teach you right now, I am much to busy helping my people,"
"I understand and I want to say that I am willing to help you deal with the Friezaforce," I tell him
"If you want, I am even willing to help your people recover," I offer him
"Thank you," He says a bit happy despite the situation
"Can anyone tell me what happened? I need to know the details of the invasion,"
"Certainly," Pybara starts taking a deep breath
"One day out of nowhere a big ship arrived. Goku had mentioned that the group called the Ginyu Force was going to head here after they were done dealing with Namek. The day arrived a few years later but we had still made preparations in case they arrived here," He stops as he starts helping another Yardrat
"From what my people told me, they arrived and started declaring Yardrat as belonging to them now and that our lives were forfeit. Then they started killing and butchering everyone in the cities around the planet..." He stops for a moment getting a sad and angry look on his face
"We tried to defend our homeworld. But, they were just too many of them to deal with. In the end, we were forced to rely upon strike and run away tactics in order to push them, but most of our powerful warriors have given their lives to save as many as they could," He says as he lets out a tear
"Once enough of them had been killed, the Friezaforce retreated back into space and while we could follow them, by the time we reached them, our energy would be nearly depleted,"
"So, we decided to come together and try to help out as many people as possible,"
"Even so, so many of my people are suffering," He says mournfully as the Yardrat he was trying to heal passes away, his injuries being too much for the exhausted Pybara clone
I walk to another one and begin to give out my own energy to help the Yardrat recover
Making the cycle around their body to help them heal
My own healing technique may barely even qualify as one, but so long as I can help with the minor injuries Pybara and the rest of the healers here can focus on the more life-threatening injuries
"What techniques were you hoping to learn?" He asks me to try and change the subject
"Healing, Gigantification, Cloning, and Force Spirit Fission," I answer him
"Not Instant Transmission?"
"No, I already know it," I tell him and he just nods while letting out a sigh
"That technique of yours is helping, but not enough, I guess I can try to teach you how to heal others as we go then. If that is alright with you?" He asks me
"Its alright, but I am going to need to focus on making sure the Friezaforce is dealt with,"
"My people and I will be forever thankful if you succeed," He says with a small smile as he starts becoming slightly transparent
"You are going to have to rejoin," I state
"Yes, but I can at least push myself to the limits before doing so," he says with a small smile
"Alright, any tips on how to improve my healing..."
