An hour later,
Samael sat outside his home on the tallest mountain of the Cardinal World of Tensura. He wasn't sitting on a throne or in some grand chairājust a simple plastic chair, leaning back casually, like he was waiting for something.
Finally, they came.
Two hundred warriors of the Supreme Sorcery Kingdom arrived, marching with arrogance and bloodlust.
At the front stood their commander, Raiga. His eyes locked onto Samael, and a twisted smirk spread across his face.
"You human," Raiga spat. "Our Emperor Jahilāone of the oldest High Humansāhas commanded us to capture you. Emperor Rudra is standing in his way of dominance, and we will crush anyone who dares support him."
Behind Raiga, the soldiers sneered and chuckled darkly. Samael didn't even need to hear their thoughtsāhe could see what kind of kingdom they came from. A kingdom drenched in hatred, cruelty, and filth. A kingdom where every sin was celebratedāwhere women and children were abused daily, and people laughed while doing it.
Samael's eyes narrowed. Father should've created these humans more like the ones in the Cardinal World of DxD. Even the humans there look like saints compared to these so-called High Humans.
He could feel his own emotions being bent, twisted by disgust. He wasn't a narcissistāhe knew that. But the sheer arrogance of these men, Against his student, the true awakened hero, was beyond laughable and standing against him for that he does not have any words.
Still, Raiga continued his arrogant speech, raising his voice like some stage actor.
"We, under Emperor Jahil, willā"
Yaaawn.
Samael cut him off with a loud yawn, stretching his arms. His face was blank, unimpressed.
Then he opened a mental link.
"Sensei" , Rudra's voice came instantly, sharp but calm. Those people⦠they must be there to attack you.
"Indeed," Samael answered in thought. "But tell me, Rudra⦠you knew about them, didn't you? And still, you didn't stop them."
A small chuckle echoed in his mind, followed by Rudra's reply.
"Sensei, do you really think I need to protect you? It's the other way aroundāyou're the one protecting me. Look at yourself. Even now, I've become a True Hero, and you⦠you still stand far above me. You don't just defeat True Demon Lords with me combine āyou could erase us without even trying. Even when you fight us, you're holding back, limiting your power. What do you think these fools can do to you?"
Samael smirked at Rudra's words.
The enemy soldiers kept laughing, mocking, and raising their weapons.
They had no idea who they were standing in front of.
While Samael was lost in thought, a loud voice snapped him back.
"Are you even listening to me?!" Ryga shouted, his face burning with fury.
How could this so-called humanāthis mortal with no mana signatureāignore him? To Ryga, it was nothing less than a crime. A crime against his royal pride. His authority felt insulted, crushed.
"Attack!" Ryga roared.
"Yes, Lord Ryga!" all one hundred and ninety-nine soldiers shouted in unison.
"Magic Flare!"
"Water Stream!"
"Solar Punch!"
"Wood Bind!"
"Climate Shift!"
"Space Crack!"
"Displacement Magic!"
Spell after spell echoed as mana filled the air, shaking the mountain.
Samael just sat there, bored. His eyes didn't even flicker.
Thenāsnap!
With one snap of his fingers, all two hundred soldiers shattered into splinters, erased instantly.
Samael lowered his hand, and a glowing magic circle appeared beneath them. In the next moment, the soldiers were backārevived, gasping for air, trembling, some even fainting from the shock.
Ryga's face twisted, sweat dripping down his temple. "What⦠what was that?!"
Samael looked straight at him and smiled calmly. "Do you yield?"
"Never!" Ryga screamed, his pride taking over. "We are the Supreme Sorcerers, the High Humans! We will never bow down to a worthless human like you, who doesn't even have mana!"
Behind him, the soldiers, though pale and terrified, still nodded.
Samael let out a small sigh, a comical sweat drop sliding down his face. Of course⦠they can't sense my energy. Makes sense. I don't use mana like them. I use light energyāthe power of angels. To them, it feels like nothing.
But more than that, their stubborn pride was almost laughable.
Five minutes passed.
Again, Samael snapped his fingers.
They died.
Then he revived them.
Again.
And again.
And again.
Fifty times over.
The soldiers were shaking, pale as corpses, yet they still stood. Their bodies screamed in fear, but their pride refused to bow.
Samael finally exhaled deeply. "Enough."
He raised his hand, and a small glowing ball of light appeared in his palm.
"Pandora," he whispered.
The ball of light floated gently, then dropped toward the ground. Slow. Silent. Almost harmless.
But every warrior, every sorcerer, every dragon in the area panicked.
They couldn't sense mana from himābut the pressure of that attack chilled them to the core.
They layered barrier after barrier, one on top of another. Walls of magic rose like towers.
And yet⦠the little ball of light passed through them all. Like paper. Like nothing.
Then it touched the ground.
Silence.
A heartbeat laterā
BOOM!
The entire area, five kilometers wide, vanished in an instant. A deep crater carved into the earth, black smoke rising into the sky.
Samael sighed, scratching his head. "Ah⦠now I'll have to fix this mess."
He snapped his fingers again. Instantly, the crater filled with water, forming a giant lake.
"Well, this will make a nice spot for Milim, Ophis, and Rael to play around," he chuckled softly.
But thenāhis eyes narrowed.
Not everyone was gone.
At the edge of the battlefield stood a lone figure, a man with a unique ability. At his side, spectral dogs snarled protectively. He had witnessed everything.
Samael smirked. "Oh? A survivor. Or⦠no. A messenger."
He leaned back casually in his plastic chair, the wind brushing past him.
"Looks like you'll be the one to run back and tell your king what happened here," Samael said with a smile. "Let's see what they'll do now."
In the Kingdom of Supreme Sorcery āalso called the Supreme Sorcery Magic KingdomāEmperor Jahil sat on his throne. His twisted grin stretched wide, like a joker's face, his messy hair falling down his shoulders. At his feet, blood dripped from the slaves chained beneath the throne, their eyes empty with fear.
The throne room was silent, heavy with dread.
Creaaak.
The giant doors opened.
A knight entered, trembling but trying to stand tall.
"Mamir," Jahil said, his voice sharp. "What news from the battlefield? Did you crush those filthy royals who betrayed us High Humans?"
Mamir kneeled, his golden hair reflecting the torchlight. "My Lord⦠Lord Ryga and his army⦠they perished. Every single one of them. That man⦠he killed them. Revived them. Killed them again. And revived them again. Over and over. Until they broke."
The throne room gasped. Even Jahil leaned forward.
"Come closer."
"Yes, my Lord."
Jahil's eyes glowed with cruel magic as he touched Mamir's head. With his binding spell, he read the memories directly, forcing the truth out. The images of Samael's effortless slaughter burned in his mind.
For the first time in centuries, Jahil's smile faltered.
"ā¦Impossible," he muttered. He was one of the oldest true High Humans, surviving long after others had chosen death or passed their legacies to descendants. And yet, this one man, this "royal," had wiped out his elites like children.
Still, Jahil clenched his fist. His ambition didn't waver. He would conquer this world. The Creator had given them free will. Why not use it? If the gods themselves abandoned their seats, then he would sit upon them.
An old man, the King's advisor, stepped forward and knelt. "My Lord, Jahil⦠there is one way left."
Jahil narrowed his eyes. "Speak."
"We can summon the daemon."
For a moment, silence filled the hall. Thenā
"Hahahaha!" Jahil threw his head back, laughing like a madman. "The daemon⦠yes. With that monster on our side, even that so-called awakened hero Emporor Rudra won't stand a chance. And not even that Human."
His grin returned, wider than before.
"Summon him. Now."
The advisor hesitated. "ā¦To summon a daemon of that caliber, we must sacrifice souls, my Lord. At least ten."
"Ten?" Jahil waved his hand. "Pathetic. Use any ten citizens. Their lives are meaningless compared to my goal."
And so, within the hour, an altar of black stone was raised in the capital square. Dark magic poured into it like a storm, runes glowing with a sinister light. Ten lifeless bodies of civilians lay around the circle, their souls consumed.
Jahil raised both hands, his mana surging. "Come forth, daemon! Obey me!"
The circle flared. The world itself seemed to shiver.
Darkness spread across the kingdom, swallowing the sun.
āMeanwhile, far below in the Underworldā
A man sat lazily on a throne made of skulls, watching a massive universal screen his father had once created. He looked bored, slouched with one leg over the armrest.
"ā¦Tch. Nothing good on today," he muttered, changing the cosmic channels.
Then suddenlyāhe felt it.
A pull. A summons. Someone was trying to drag him out of his domain.
He tilted his head, a grin forming. "Heh⦠so someone's calling me, huh?"
He stood up slowly, stretching his shoulders. His eyes gleamed with hunger.
"Guess I'll go. I was bored anyway."
Suddenly, in the Supreme Sorcerer Kingdom, a man with Red Hair appeared out of the summoning circle.
Guy Morningstar.
His crimson eyes opened slowly as he looked around. For a moment, he seemed a little startled. Then he activated his Ultimate Skill, spreading his universal sense across the entire kingdom.
The moment he felt the people here, his face twisted.
"ā¦Disgusting."
The aura of this place was filled with filthācorruption, cruelty, and endless atrocities. Even the worst demons of Hell looked like saints compared to these so-called High Humans.
Then a loud voice interrupted him.
"You! Daemon!" Jahil stood from his throne, grinning like a maniac. "I summoned you with this special circle. That makes me your master. You will obey me!"
Guy turned his eyes toward him, calm but cold.
Jahil pulled out a crystal, projecting an imageāan image of Samael.
"This man," Jahil spat with hate. "He is nothing but filth. Though he comes from the line of High Humans, he is not pure. I command youākill him. Wipe him from this world."
For the first time in ages, Guy actually looked shocked. His eyes narrowed.
"ā¦What did you just say?"
He stared at the picture of Samael, then back at Jahil. His aura flared slightly, the air around him trembling.
This fool⦠does he even know what he's saying?
Guy knew exactly who Samael was. He had been there from the beginning, at the creation of High Humans. Samael wasn't just another "royal" or half-blood. He was his big brother. One of the few beings Guy himself respected.
And this clown dared to order him to kill him?
"No." Guy's voice was calm but sharp as a blade.
Jahil's smile dropped. His veins bulged with rage. "What?! You dare refuse me? I am your owner! Obey me!"
Guy tilted his head, almost bored. "Owner? Don't make me laugh. There are only three people in existence who can look down on meāmy father, my mother, and my big brother Samael. You? You're trash."
The moment he said that, the throne room froze.
Then it began.
A massacre.
Guy's demonic energy erupted like a storm. The ground shattered, the castle walls cracked, and screams filled the air. The soldiers, the mages, the servantsāeveryone in the Supreme Sorcerer Kingdom was crushed under his power.
Blood painted the marble floors. Fear replaced arrogance.
Jahil screamed, "No! Stop! I am your master! I order youā!"
But his words vanished in the chaos.
Guy looked at him one last time, his smile cruel. "Be grateful. You'll die knowing how worthless you really are."
And in an instant, the Supreme Sorcerer Kingdom was drowned in Guy's wrath.
ā
Meanwhile, in the Cardinal World of Tensura⦠Samael felt something. His eyes opened as he sat on his mountain.
"ā¦That idiot," he muttered. A small smile appeared on his lips. "Looks like Guy made his move."
