"Guilds! Challenge number fifteen has been completed, and with it the first major guild war ends! All of you will be rewarded for your valiant efforts!"
When C's voice sounded through the battlefield another wave of cheers came from Dream Avenue. The other guilds were rather dejected. But at least Mountain Lord, Fat Tiger, and Glorious Sunrise proved mature enough to congratulate Dream Avenue.
Cyclone and Balm happily thanked them. And under Fortune's advice Cyclone even apologized for the earlier banter. The other guild leaders only laughed, not taking it to heart.
Just then C continued:
"Fourth place of this guild war: Beast Den! Congratulations on receiving a price of three thousand points!"
At some point the barriers separating the guilds from each other had already fallen. Beast Den could hear polite claps coming from the other guilds, but it didn't do much to lift their mood.
The gangsters of TwinThieves only clapped sporadically. They were already dreading the next announcement.
"Third place of the guild war: TwinThieves! Congratulations on receiving a price of four thousand points!"
There was not much reaction to C's words. Quickly, the other two places followed.
"Second place of the guild war: Infinito! Congratulations on receiving a price of five thousand points!"
"First place of the guild war: Dream Avenue! Congratulations on receiving a price of ten thousand points!"
At this point Dream Avenue had already cheered enough. They didn't react that loudly anymore, mostly showing bright smiles, their hearts filled with a strong excitement. But the ones with the most joyful expressions were Cyclone and Balm who were already dreaming what to buy with the ten thousand points.
The guild war was gradually wrapping up. The players were given the option to leave at any time. Only the guild leaders and core members remained behind to get their rewards from the point shop.
"Ok ok. What should we get? Look, we have enough points for a few unique weapons!"
Cyclone was giddy as she scrolled through the shop, dazzled by all the valuable items one normally wouldn't see in the outside world. Luckily her friends were there or Cyclone might spend all her points on random equipment.
"Don't act hasty, please. First tell us how many points we got."
"11.965.", responded Balm immediately. Liam nodded, trying to calculate in his head. However, with so many options even he couldn't keep all of it in mind. He mainly recalled the few items with high priority.
"Ok, that's quite a comfortable amount. I suggest we get a territory war order first and the blueprint for a research lab. After that we should have 4215 points left."
"Another war order? We haven't even restored Greypine Town yet…", said Silent Acacia.
"We don't need to start a new territory war immediately. But having the war order is never wrong. You don't know when we will earn so many points again."
"Hm, you got a point."
Cyclone was somewhat reluctant as well, but she knew that it was the right thing to do. She bought the two items Liam suggested. Afterwards the core members discussed on how to spend the rest of their points. All kinds of rare scrolls were bought for the guild. Additionally, they spent some money on a small statue which had the effect of boosting the territory's income it was placed in.
Finally, they still had enough points left. Everyone perceived the look in Cyclone's eyes.
"Well, I think a guild like ours also needs strong representatives."
"I understand what you are hinting at, my friend. I agree."
Silver Blade and Radiant Shield sounded somewhat cryptic. But the others figured it out, chiming in as well.
"Mhm, we can't look too weak in the public eye."
"Exactly. Everyone understands the concept of a status symbol."
Cyclone furrowed her brows, confused by her friends. But as they continued, she was also slowly hit with a realization. Her eyes lit up like a kid running through a toy shop as she stared at her friends.
"Are you saying… I can buy a unique weapon?!"
"Haha. Go for it."
Silver Blade was the one to answer her as everyone smiled encouragingly.
"Thanks, guys!"
Cyclone was almost jumping from joy. She quickly asked C to only show her the unique weapons, getting lost in all the dazzling names. With some advice from her friends, she finally came to a decision. Cyclone didn't buy the most expensive weapon and instead used the guild's points wisely to get wands for her and also for Balm.
"Hahaha! Our enemies will be shaking just from looking at my beautiful wand!"
Cyclone and Balm were both waving their wands excitedly. This purchase was quite expensive. Each weapon cost more than five hundred points. One could imagine the might of a weapon whose value was equal to a tenth of the second territory war order. Cyclone, despite having discussed her purchase with her friends, cheekily posted the information in the chat simply to show off.

"Congratulations, Cy."
"Hmpf! Show-off!"
"Unique weapons are really awesome!"
Witnessing the reactions of her friends Balm naturally didn't want to be left out. She hastily also posted her weapon's information.

Balm's friends showed some weird expressions, holding back their laughter. The healer's wand indeed had quite the unique description. However, its might couldn't be denied. Balm had long since voiced her wish to veer from the path of being purely a healer. Liam had a few possible classes for her in mind and this wand was a good preparation for her. After getting upgraded a few times the weapon would accompany Balm for the foreseeable future.
Getting their hands on new weapons, the two guild leaders were extremely happy with the result of the war. They had about two hundred points left, spending them on some materials for potions and equipment.
Finally, all of Dream Avenue's points were used up. There was nothing left to do in the battlefield. Dream Avenue said farewell to the other guilds and left the battlefield entirely.
Liam and his friends returned to the guild hall in Duabalis, discussing their plans for the day. Liam's friends suggesting continuing the void compass quest but the veteran shook his head.
"Although we can collect our reward now, we won't be able to continue the quest. We need to reach level 50 for the second part of the quest."
"Oh."
The friends naturally accepted the explanation. However, no one was overly keen on power levelling for level 50. Luckily there was more than enough to do in the guild. After a short discussion Liam and his friends travelled to Greypine Town. Dream Avenue's new territory gradually took form.
It was bustling with curious players. Some have already discovered valuable hunting grounds outside the territory while others went shopping. Bellissio's shop was filled with customers. The well-designed equipment sold like hot cake despite having no practical value.
Of course, some players also tried to make trouble. But after they met with Major Vaukas and her guards they were soon taught some manners. Overall, the friends were greatly satisfied with the development of the territory as they walked towards the central tower.
